Needs Help: Wet Blanket Wife

OK, the current page image for Wet Blanket Wife is unbelievably poorly chosen and tactless. It's an image from the Spider-Man story "Renew Your Vows" with a snarky Sarcasm Mode caption implying "no-one wants to see a married Spider-Man". Now if that's ringing alarm bells already, then that just means you know about the massive controversy surrounding the "Spider-Marriage", particularly the infamous One More Day and the editorial fiat that forced the contrived and absurd breakup of Peter and Mary Jane's marriage (via Deal with the Devil and Cosmic Retcon).

Put simply, that image and caption is incredible Flame Bait. It's so tactless that I could almost believe it was put there by Joe Quesada himself. The treatment of the Spider-Marriage split the entire fanbase and is still a touchy issue for many people, so choosing that image in particular (from an EXTREMELY recent comic) just seems like someone is reacting to a story they don't like. I'm not arguing whether or not Mary Jane actually counts as a Wet Blanket Wife or not (like I said, she's a Base Breaker), but that image has to go. Surely there's a better one out there, one less calculated to upset, annoy and insult so many people?

First off, this reads like a rant instead of a solid reason. Second, Mary Jane's on the page as an example and the pic fits the trope just fine, so demanding it be removed without suggesting something to replace it isn't kosher. Third, outright removing a pic without an IP thread isn't the way it's done. The caption did suck, but rodney removed it, so I see no further issue with the pic as is.
