Suggestion: Underboobs

My suggeestion for taking Underboobs off the "no pic" list is along the same line as my suggestion for Sideboob. As with that thread, if this doesn't get enough votes, the page will remain on the "no pic" list.

Honestly I think the blue-footed booby bait-and-switch is kinda tired at this point. Plus, boob is a different word from booby.

What's wrong with legitimate underboobs as long as no naughty bits are revealed?

This pun doesn't work as well as the other.

If it's a pun that requires a degree in ornithology to get... is it worth it? I like funny page image but it's a pun that is A) really obscure, and B) not even that good a pun since the page is underboob not underbooby.

I agree that there are actual SFW pics that would illustrate this. The first thing I thought was Madelyne Pryor's "Goblin Queen" outfit from X-Men. Here's◊ one pic of her, if that's not good, you can find tons more by googling "Madelyne Pryor goblin queen".

That's actually a good example. I didn't quite understand this trope until seeing that.

Folks, we've been down this road...three times before. Having a straight pic on the page has proven to be a ticket for escalation, and even with a stern "change the pic at risk of a wiki ban" comment, I'm not convinced that it's worth the risk.

The why is it okay for Absolute Cleavage?

That question is more likely to get Absolute Cleavage changed than to win an argument about Underboobs.

(Not that I think that should happen, just pointing out the pattern.)

There are a kazillion different work and trope pages that are no more SFW than the pic I suggested. I don't think there's ever been a policy of this site having no cheesecake pics at all? Otherwise there'd have to be huge purge of various page pics.

I wouldn't mind Absolute Cleavage being changed. It's no more SFW than the suggesting here. We should have consistency.

Absolute Cleavage's pic, I think, hasn't been brought up for discussion because that dress was such a memetic thing at that time. I'm kinda torn on removing it...it hasn't caused problems in terms of people trying to replace it (no IP threads about it), unlike the two pages we've been discussing so far.

Ain't broke; don't fix.

Ryuko Matoi or Satsuki Kiryuin for suggestions?

Both of those are a little extreme...if we're going to end up with an actual pic for this, then, to quote shima, w need "the blandest, least sexy image that still shows the trope."

EDIT: Maybe something like the pic here...her outfit normally has a Cleavage Window but this pose covers it while still showing what's necessary. (Not linking the actual pic because it'll do the thumbnail thing.)

That second one's the best of those. Here's◊ a version of the Goblin Queen pic that doesn't have the Marvel watermark. I'd actually be alright with this one now that I've looked at it more, especially with a caption pointing out that the guy behind her has the same thing going on with his outfit.
