It's taking it Up To Eleven, in both ends of the spectrum. lol
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.Eh, I've seen Seitokai Yakuindomo.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. One thing that me: the porn distributed is all naked women. Haven't they learned from Swimbros?
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.I LOVE it! And yet, i haven't seen a single episode of it yet. Figured I'd wait until I get a good stoping point in Gintama before starting this.
"We be we baby!"Weird. I thought more people would be talking about this one.
"We be we baby!"You scared them with your Pearlface.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. The OP is a thing of beauty.
Thank you.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. Not you, the Opening Piece.
I'm going to figure out how to insert crowning moments of awesome, funny, heartwarming, and more pages for this series! It's just too good to leave only the Light Novel page on!
This seems to be developing nicely.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.I just finished watching the first three episodes. That was fucking hilarious. XD I'm sold on this series!
I do lots of stuff. The real question is am I any good at that stuff.I get the feeling the writers of this are harshly criticizing the increasingly strict censorship laws going up in Japan.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! That was kind of the intention, yes.
This show is like Spring Awakening meets Nineteen Eighty-Four. Except nobody dies, and it's funny. So really nothing like either of those things. Still, I love this premise.
It's more Seitokai Yakuindomo with plot, told as a social commentary about the oppression of the right freedom of speech and expression.
Can't say i've ever heard of that play, but gods it sounds depressing.
It is. The music is surprisingly uptempo, though.

Watch the first 3 episodes. And now I need ointment for my sides. It's doesn't take itself too seriously, but just seriously enough for me to care about what it says. It's wonderfully done and paced.
First time I heard Otome's voice I was like "what?!", but once you grow accustomed to it, damn it's hilarious. X) Especially for someone whose name means "pure young girl" yet talks like an old lady.
Japan does have weird and contradictory censorship laws currently. I mean, on one hand some hentai mangakas get away with stuff that would probably send them to jail in any other country, but on the other hand they censor genitalia in porn movies; which makes about as much sense as censoring the blood in a slasher movie.
Still, that's not the first work I see that predicts absurdly strict censorship laws in future Japan (there's Poison City in another register)… it seems to be a real concern there.
If Japan ever decided to use the same censorship methods on their some of their gorier horror films, it'd be just 90 or so minutes of a black screen with squelching noises and anguished screaming dubbed over it.

Five hearts in her eyes. That's pretty impressive. If Okuma isn't careful she might hit him with eye beams by accident.
In this episode: Anna completely loses her shit and tries to rape Tanukichi. It's equal parts hilarious and terrifying.

See? Five heart eyes are not to be trusted. Anna is a freak. Well, the ED made that obvious enough already.
Actually, jokes aside, she sounds seriously mentally ill.
I signed Kaichou being the lewd action anime of this season and Shimoneta being just lewd comedy. I was proven so wrong.
(I might be bit exaggerating here, but that scene came out of left field and went from lewd to hentai in matter of seconds.)
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!Holy shit Anna
In a World… where public decency is enforced to the point that the textbook explanation for "how children are made" is "when a man and a woman love each other very much, in the good and in the bad, in sickness and in health[etc.]", where people carry little tags that call the cops on them for saying profanity, which gets them sent to hard labour, where porn is such a rare commodity that it's trafficked with the same seriousness as heroin there's...
... I'm sorry, I just can't keep a straight face...
... there's a terrorist who fights by flamboyantly disrupting public places with dirty jokes and tons of porn photos.
And there is a student, who transferred to the academy with the purest moral standards in order to be by the side of the Student Council President there, whom he admires, and who doesn't understand lewdness, lust, or lasciviousness. Little did he know that the Student Council Vice-President is the terrorist. Hilarity Ensues.
WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST WATCH!?
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
