Oh, Icarus, you cad, you!
Insert witty 'n clever quip here. This guy's a great reviewer and I find him very likeable, but sometimes he feels like he's trying too hard to be Jon Tron.
Also, I totally disagree with him on Sly Cooper. Band Of Thieves was the best game.
I don't talk soft, that's the other guy.A good bit of it is actually closer to the style of PBG, I think.
That said, been introduced to him about a year and a half ago when a post on the Game Grumps subreddit brought him up (as something JonTron-esque). Apparently, he'd like to be on Normal Boots and that was before its temporary shutdown. Been a fan since and by extension it led me to be introduced to Spacehamster and Brutalmoose.
My faves from him are the Dalmatians 3 video and his two crossover videos with Brutalmoose.

I now go by Graf von Tirol. Thanks, caddy. I don't even have a Playstation yet I want to get one just for Vib-Ribbon.
I discovered him through Youtube recommendations after I started watching other Youtube game reviewers. I think that the first vid of his that I watched was his review of The Great Escape game, and it's still one of my favs of his. It just has several funny moments, like when he first starts the game and finds the first-person controls way too jerky; when he calls the main character "Ham-Faced Cole Phelps" due to the questionable character models; and that ending with the comedy-of-errors motorcycle chase.
Some of my other favs of his are the Dalmations 3 one, and the one where he counted down the creepiest soundtracks in video games, even though he didn't choose "My Heaven" from Silent Hill for the top position.
I like his Current Quickies and wholeheartedly support him doing a Worst Games list at the end of the year.
I wish I knew who drew all of the little graphics for his vids because I like them.
I actually kind of disliked how he didn't spoil anything in his Metal Gear Solid 3 retrospective vid because I wanted to know what he thought about the most emotional parts of the game.
I wonder what he'll do for his next retrospectives series. It would be neat if he talked about more horror games.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyHis retrospective has convinced me that Sly Cooper is worth my time. Now to buy the appropriate consoles...
I also confirm it is worth your time.
I don't talk soft, that's the other guy.New Review!
Oh hey we do have a thread for Caddy. RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE.
Who's up for some nostalgia? Because Caddy found a bunch of LEGO games to play.
And now for a sad and painful tale…
Good god, even for a completionist like me it seems like they went waaaay overboard. >.>
I saw a comment on that video that said that they had a theory that the reason the game is so bloated with stuff to collect (Just... Good Lord, that is an excessive amount - That's what killed the collectathon platformer!) is that Toys For Bob was worried that people would think the game was too short to be worth 60 bucks, so they decided to pack in more collectibles and ended up overcompensating.
Does that check out?
My AO3 profile. Let sleeping cats lie and be cute and calming.I'm still skeptical if anybody should expect that they need to always 100% complete games when there are plenty of games that seems to be designed with providing that option but not expecting players to do it
At last, a worthy challenger to surpass Donkey Kong 64.
You also don't have to 100% a game all at once. Yeah, it's an endurance challenge to shotgun it, but you don't have to do that.
I don't go for a 100% completion unless
1)Its really short and easy (with harder games I have less patience)
2)I really,really like the game
New theme music also a boxCaddi’s released his early PS5 review.
tldw: It looks very impressive… if you haven’t played a PC game in the last five years, and it’s bloody expensive considering the games he did enjoy are either tech demos, remakes, or available on other systems. He did have a great first impression, but recommends to wait a while before breaking your piggy bank to get one.
Also, the brick wall is back. And they had a baby!
PS: The madlad tried to play Overcooked alone. Who does that?

To be fair, consoles have significantly lower price points than good PCs. When you're not buy them off scalper scumbags, that is.
For the library issues, it should be noted that the system's backwards compatibility boosts some PS4 games. So it's not a total wash if you get one now and have a decently sized backlog. Just not worth the inflated price tag.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Ehhhh... a good PC is going to outlast a couple console generations. A decent PC can be assembled at a competitive price. The trick is the requisite research and just doing it.
I just paid someone to do it. I don't trust my own hands.
Caddy spent a ridiculous amount of money on all this. Dear lord.

I found this guy by accident. Anyway, Caddicarus is a pretty good newer entry into the video game review field. He sets himself apart with a unique style, and a slightly different demo (he\'s apparently under 20, so he does PS 1 and newer games).
Here is his channel. Be warned, he loves his Sensory Abuse... but other than that, he\'s got some really solid reviewing chops.
