That's cool, but probably unrelated to the NX.
Being patented this late, definetely not NX related.
Also just what the fuck is going to be the damn things name?
I'm betting on the Ehnecks, myself.
Foxxcon to begin trial production of the NX.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."10 Million Units a year? Man, I wonder if the NX can sell nearly 10 Million Units a year?
Here's hoping it can!
If they can't do at least 10 million a year for at least the first few years Nintendo should get out of the hardware business. The 3DS did 12-13 million in its first 3 full fiscal years. And that was with a crummy start and only half support from them.
I do wonder how Nintendo would do as a third party. Judging by the numbers their own games move even in their most unpopular consoles, things may come out great as long as they don't Sega themselves. Something crazy like Mario Kart moving GTA V-like numbers.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Where would Nintendo go? Going to Playstation or Xbox would require royalty fees and neither of them have a portable (Sony pretty much killed the Vita).
PC gamers are growing, but the difficulty in creating a local multiplayer space which is Nintendo's bread and butter would hinder them.
Mobile is portable and makes local multiplayer easier, but lacks the controls outside of third party support.
Retailers in the UK are being asked to put in their final Wii U orders by September 30th.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."In the event that they go third party they would be heavily downsizing and no longer be publishing the wide breath that they are now. So where they go (besides mobile because obviously they would go mobile) depends on what they wanted to keep.
There's also the fact that for ever 1 person that would be happy about 3rd party Nintendo, there'd be hundreds more who'd see it as an overall negative and a loss of character.
We're talking about the 3DS here, not the Wii U.

If Nintendo went third party, the sun will explode, and the rapture will begin.
Nothing today? I thought i'd get something special for staying offline all day (was driving to and then going through an interview, fingers crossed).
Foxconn beginning production is amusing when the device isn't officially confirmed yet.
Chinese Foxconn sketch artist returns with a sketch of the NX.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."The NX doubles as a toaster oven?
This song needs more love.Nevermind, it seems to be fake.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Nintendo has stated that if they go out of the console business their IP's will go down with them. They're not interested in developing for other companies' systems.
Not counting mobile phones, I guess.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! They also stated they would never make games for mobile systems, and here we are.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."If Nintendo does poorly and decides to go out entirely rather than go third-party, I'll be really upset. They're about the only major company out there putting out fun, colorful, gameplay-focused games, and sure as hell are the only ones putting out platformers.
You'd better believe I would be upset if Nintendo ever went under. Especially if they took their IPs with them. If I was bent out of shape over Disney Infinity getting Screwed by the Network, Nintendo closing its doors would have me depressed for weeks. I'm not sure if I'm even exaggerating.
"Pardon me, that extremely loud and extremely deep voice you may have just heard. It was me. Oh, it is such a long story..."I literally only own Nintendo systems so if Nintendo ever went down I'd be forced to switch to Sony for my gaming and Playstation systems are expensive.
I would make a memorial shrine and give it offerings so that the Ghost of Nintendo didn't rise up and destroy the world in a bright, stylized cataclysm.
i. hear. a. sound.I would be sad if Nintendo left though I always have a Nintendo and Playstation systems so I would still have games to play but I kind of want Nintendo to move to just make Playstation exclusives I don't want to have to purchase another system.
Either that or have Nintendo just keep making handheld systems and make games for that and if they want make games on the other consoles.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure
Nintendo patents a projector that displays flat images on uneven surfaces.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."
