Alright, I'll TS tomorrow evening. I'm going to a water park with my family for most of the day tomorrow, so I'll be away until then.

Imca and Aqua, you two can have Morgan and Suzune's duel happen via flashbacks.

Ah, noted. Will be writing up my part between the TS.

And Dia has a diary entry.

Tempestas 22nd

Today was a great day. I got to know many people around here, including the shy, kindhearted angel Iris, the good-natured delinquent Gage, the cute confectionery master and team leader James, and the playful yet good-natured Fe.

Today was an exciting day too. I had a duel against Iris, we both drew. I didn't know she was this capable until then, she could fly, her Semblance was powerful, and her drone had all kinds of tricks! Guess that I really should conserve my Aura in fights like these...

Speaking of fights, I got to see the Semblances of other people! Iris: Literally vanish, out of sight and physical form! Gage: Swaps places with other people, but I noticed that there's a maximum range to it. Connor: I think he's able to enhance the power of his sword- he made it deflect plasma! Samuel: A high speed charge, for a fast and powerful attack! Ragnaros: Not quite sure, but I think it's got to do with objects he holds. Scarlet: Flame Breath for roasting Grimm! Selene: I think it's a form of storing Aura for strength before releasing it in a blast.

I also got to learn about things that I didn't know before... particularly about the Human-Faunus racism. I don't understand why they would want to fight like that... we're all people and we should be treated as people. Iris' family had been actively working against this racism, and it seems to be working. There aren't many (if at all) racist people here.

My Teammates

James. He's shy, cute, doesn't like to be touched, but he's a kind person and he's excellent at making sweet foods. Not sure what his Semblance is, but his clockwork sword is pretty cool! I think he has quite a lot of potential, which is why he's team leader... sigh, I really wish I was a leader. I'm a noble after all...

Gage. He may be a delinquent with rude behaviour, but he's still very well-meaning. He does care a lot for us, and he Never. Backs. Down. Even against a much stronger opponent. That suit of his is pretty awesome... reminds me of those heroes from those shows on TV that my bro watched.

Fe. Cute fox girl, slightly hotheaded. A nice person overall who likes music and ice cream! Not sure what her Semblance is. She may have overexerted herself, fighting two people in succession... good thing we're there to help her.

I sincerely hope that my team would be able to help me grow stronger. Gotta get some team synergy in this. I don't want to be the helpless girl I once was...

Oh crap I realized I haven't actually shown all of you the image I have for Scarlet's bike: Here.

But yeah, KR I just thought I'd give you a heads up and a chance to change Gage's insult before Scarlet rips into him for not being able to identify different styles of motorcycle.

@Guyshane: Gonna need a little more info on the Cycle of Vengeance.

And to be fair, this might just be both our characters riling each other up. They're both inner city bikers who have bled and cried over their engines, capable of taking them apart and putting them back together.

Just as Gage can see that she has given hers the very best of care (not that he'll ever admit it, given that Scarlet started on the Hornet), she oughta know that Gage had a harder time given that the parts for his bike don't come cheap.

It has missiles, a battering ram, nitrous, oil slick, can drive on walls or ceilings. Basically it's the batmobile of bikes.

And part of Scarlet's problem with Hornet that it can change, essentially she views it as a bike that was built with folding frame technology instead of just upgrading it like hers is (She's a bit of a snob).

Also Cycle of Vengeance isn't it's actual name in universe, I haven't decided on what it, I just used it for the sign-up because the pun was right the and it was perfect.

@Guyshane: Well, it's still gonna be an insult... Gage is of the 'less is more, make due with what ya got' school.

@IC: You have no idea how close you are to the truth.

EDIT: While Gage favors his red bandanna, he does have others in various colors. That goes double for socks and shirts.

Green, yellow, white, blue, purple, orange...

Well, since everybody is going to the Aquarium with aquatic Grimm in it, I might as well post 3 Grimm species...

Deep in the oceans, many species of Grimm flourish, away from human contact. One of the most feared and deadly are the Gigabolt, the Knifehead, and the Fathom.

Gigabolt

Lifestyle:

Floating near the ocean surface, Gigabolts resemble a giant, twisted form of a Man-of-war. Despite looking like a colony-based creature, they are only a singular entity. It has a black, bloated body with a white sailing crest, and a white Grimm “mask” in front with many “eyes”. Several black tentacles, each of which has a white tip at its end.

While Gigabolts normally drift around where the wind carries them, they can also descend to the photic zone by deflating their sacs.

The Gigabolt has very few predators, if any at all due to its shocking defences. Even Fathoms and Knifeheads do not seek them out, knowing better than to be at the end of an electrifying attack.

Abilities:

Gigabolts, despite have a bloated bell, have armor on their crests and “face”. Therefore, a Hunter must attack its soft sides and back to hurt it. Even so, it is able to regenerate any holes in its bell over time.

Gigabolts are able to hunt creatures with Aura. They can sense the Aura of living creatures on the surface of the ocean within a large radius. When detecting Aura, they expel gas from their bell as a propulsion boost towards their victims.

The Gigabolt's bell also contains a form of self-defence. The gas produced inside is not air, but a chemical that induces paralysis. When ruptured, or when propelling itself, this gas is released, and victims who inhale it find it increasingly harder to move around as their muscles begin tensing up.

The end of a Gigabolt's tentacle has a white “paddle” at the end. These are not sharp and lack stingers, but are the deadliest part of the Grimm itself. Each pair of “paddles” act as an anode/cathode, allowing the Gigabolt to shock the ionized seawater by sending a powerful current down one tentacle and up another. They can also send two tentacles to grab hold of a victim, and easily shock them to death with a high-powered current.

Temperament:

While relatively passive in nature, the Gigabolt becomes aggressive at the detection of large amounts of Aura, and will propel itself to attack the lifeforms emitting it. Electrically-insulated ships are a must when traveling the oceans.

Knifehead

Lifestyle:

Hunting around the ocean itself, Knifeheads resemble a hammerhead shark, but with the added “saw” of a sawshark on its head. Its entire head is white and armored like a Grimm “mask”, with two eyes on each end of the “hammer”.

Knifeheads are known for hunting in schools. Once they sense Aura or blood from an Aura-emanating being, they will track it down and attack in a feeding frenzy

The Knifehead has very few predators, being troubled only by the Fathom and its deadly propulsion and stinger.

Abilities:

Knifeheads have an extremely armored head that grows tougher over time, which resembles a hammer shape with a saw attached to it. This head is not only used as a sensory organ, but also doubles as a weapon. Due to its toughness, a strike from the hammer can be very powerful and dangerous, easily denting metal.

Furthermore, the Knifehead's “saw” is an even more dangerus weapon- it can rotate the teeth around it, causing it to cut through even tough armor like a chainsaw. A single sharp twist of the head can cause serious damage to anything in the way of the head.

A Knifehead's body is its weakest point. Though it is slightly armored, most weapons can easily damage it.

The Knifehead is a relatively fast swimmer too like most sharks, using its fins and tail to propel itself forward, and allowing it to position its head towards any attackers, making it harder to hit its weak body.

Kinfeheads have excellent sensing abilities, even moreso than the Fathom. They can sense Aura of living creatures within a huge radius, as well as having great eyesight, smell, hearing, and electromagnetic detection.

Perhaps the most dangerous ability of older Knifeheads is its ability to camouflage. By projecting images on its otherwise black skin and white head, it can appear invisible to its victims before striking them down with its head. Knifeheads can also use this projection to communicate with others of its kind, sending light impulses down its side (similar to this) to inform its kin of an attack strategy.

Temperament:

Knifeheads are aggressive and territorial in nature, actively seeking out all Aura-producing lifeforms around it and either killing them for food, or for trespassing their territory. It is imperative that Hunters traversing the ocean be prepared for an attack by multiple Grimm.

Fathom

Lifestyle:

Lurking in the ocean depths, Fathoms resemble a giant, twisted form of Eagle Ray, mainly black, but with a four-eyed Grimm “Mask” on its head and a white stinger on its tail. They can glide through the water and silt effortlessly, preying on smaller Grimm. Fathoms are solitary and nomadic, never staying in the same spot.

Fathoms are sometimes known for going into shallow beach areas and hiding themselves under the sand. Any unlucky Aura-producing creature that fails to notice it (which is tough, as it can bury itself well) can be easily sucked in or stabbed.

The Fathom has very few predators, if any at all, and are even known for hunting younger Knifeheads. Its armor makes it tough to kill, its stinger can impale most foes, and if the going is rough, it can easily jet away.

Abilities:

A Fathom, despite looking flimsy, has very tough skin. As they grow older, their skin starts growing extremely tough bone-like armor, as such, older specimens seem to look black and white.

The tail of a Fathom has a huge stinger on its end, capable of piercing armor. Fathoms tend to strike fast and hard, often skewering prey with ease.

Fathoms have excellent sensing abilities, enough to sense Aura of living creatures above the surface of the water from the depths that they live. This is one reason why they're feared when it comes to oceanic travel.

Fathoms have a set of "gills" on its top and underside that face backwards. These are used for high-end propulsion. By sucking in water through its mouth and expelling it through its gills, the Fathom can jet forwards quickly, reaching from the ocean floor to the surface within seconds.

Larger Fathoms can manipulate the water around them to a degree usually by flapping their wings, and sucking water through their gaping maws, even being able to cause whirlpools. Once their prey is sighted, the Fathom creates a whirlpool to prevent escape, before lashing out with its tail to skewer its victims.

Finally, a Fathom's most dangerous trait is that they're extremely cunning. When trying to find a former victim, they're known to play along, getting captured if it means getting closer to their target, or acting like they're unable to escape even when they're capable of doing so.

Temperament:

Fathoms are known for being extremely vindictive. When the going is bad, they make a hasty retreat into the murky depths. They can and will remember for years whoever hurt them, as well as the prey that got away. If they sense a similar Aura again, they will find and hunt their target down to finish what they started. Such was the fate of a Hunter known for subduing Terrabosses, the Fathom remembered its first tangle with him, and when it encountered him again after many years, finished what he started with a stinger to the heart.
