Nested Mouths and Rule of Scary have a similar head-shot of an Alien Xenomorph. Bizarre Alien Biology has one too, but it's at a different angle.

I'm thinking for Nested Mouths, the image on Rule of Scary + caption is the better of the two.

For a possible new Rule of Scary image, here's the Tales from the Crypt pinball machine, as I can't think of a reason why you'd want to scare people away from a niche market other than "because".

Opened. I agree with keeping the image on Nested Mouths.

I don't get Rule of Scary from the pinball suggestion.

I wouldn't remove the current one without a good replacement, though.

I like that the pinball is scary, but there's not much to show that it's "illogical".

How about the bug or docbot from The Matrix? Guess which movie I just watched.

The former looks like a giant mosquito. The second doesn't load to me.

I've had problems with photobucket myself, here it is at wiki size.

What's scary about it?

I hate Photobucket. On another note, it looks like a Giant Spider for no good reason except to be scary. A caption would help here. "It didn't have to look like a Giant Spider. They just wanted it to look creepy."

How many robots with more than 6-8 arms don't look like spiders?

The clock is way past due, and while there's some consensus to pull the pic from Rule of Scary, it's not hurting the page by being there and it's not a straight duplicate of the pic on Nested Mouths so that's not an issue. I'm going to go ahead and close this one.
