As for 156… Let's just say that if Nagisa is a Covert Pervert, Nagibox has largely let go of the "covert" part. What with her comment about giving Asahi "a little reunion kiss", having offered her "first time" to Asahi (read, her first kiss) or asking him to stay at his place for the night. She also jokes (?) about losing all her money at pachinko. The illustrations are explicit enough I think.

I kind of imagined that Shiho and Shirou's situation was a result of Shiho being part human part werewolf, like how Youko just gets irritated by garlic/crosses/moving water and just tans easily rather than getting decimated by the usual vampire weaknesses.

I dunno, Shiho/Shiro's situation is a little more complicated than Youko's so it's hard to compare. That makes me wonder what it is about the werewolf genes that make it manifest the way it does with them. And what is a full werewolf really like?

So she's taken on aspects of other characters in the worst sort of ways, at least to Nagisa. But it sounds like she's learned how to flirt which I'm a bit proud of I'll admit. XD

Chapter 121: Youko's eyes never lie. And Nagashi Soumen looks like a very fun way to waste food.

A filler chapter, as will be 122, but after that… prepare for the rollercoaster!

Is there any point for the somen to flow down a stream or is it just fo' funsies?

Jitsu wa's filler is as hilarious as the important romance bits. The manga gag had me grinning like an idiot

Oh god, this chapter was hilarious. I love how everyone was on board with the insanity and only Asahi was left wondering what's going on. Also, a whole manga about Nagashi Soumen.

Eh, actually I think this chapter is a bit on the weak side. I did laugh at Akane getting knocked out the roof, though.

Didn't really find this one funny except the camera shot to Youko's stomach instead of her eyes.

Butt vs. Breasts, Mankind's greatest clash since time immemorial. Otherwise, Nagibox ask Asahi to never talk to Nagisa again, to preserve his, Youko's and Nagisa's smiles in the future. He's understandably puzzled by the contradiction. And Nagibox evades all of her past self's questions about the future… and Asahi.

The chapter was still relatively serious in the end but those 7 pages were… huh.

Also, where the hell do they find those tiny plates, this tiny table and this tiny food?

Yeah it was a thing and it was awfully casted. Pretty much the only one who looked anything like in the manga was Asuna, most of the others they couldn't even bother to get the hair colors right.

Yeah Shiho looks gorgeous. Though I have to say, Youko looks way to clever.

Youko is a difficult character to play, admittedly. She's a mix of kindness, stupidity, fake cleverness and clueless pride, all with a little tinge of not-quite-adult charm and sarcasm.

Though I don't know how much of that will be featured in the play… much of it was certainly not in the anime.

Chapter 122 just came out, it was okay. But one more chapter, we're almost good to the really good stuff!!

One of the better filler chapters. The part with Aizawa was fantastic. Also, Aizawa speaks Beetlish?

Eh, I usually like all their filler chapters, but I wasn't too fond of this one.

Aww, Asahi and Youko just walking and talking about their summer plans, and Asahi asking her out on a date, how sweet.

Hilarious chapter, I kind of missed those one shot chapters with their off-beat stories.

And you know, I love that despite what we might think, Asahi isn't a Chaste Hero at all. Yes, when you're 17-ish and have a cute girlfriend, getting laid is one of the things you think about, and there aren't enough shonen romcoms that acknowledge it.

But yeah, that Aizawa scene…

Funny, I wasn't too fond of the nagashi-soumen one, but I loved this one. I guess we need fillers for all tastes? >.>

Either that, or she's a massive chuuni. Probably the latter.

Most shonen romcoms don't get that far, and end just about when the main character finally gets a girlfriend.

But yeah, it's totally natural that Kuromine wants to do this and that with his girlfriend. And he's in luck, because careful reading of several chapters reveals that Youko is full of lust too. Bloodlust that is.
