(Akari's one is bloodstains… )
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.I saw some undercovers on 4chan before. On the top of my head, Shiho's feature Shirou in the same pose. Akane's have a growling Youko in the background and Akane giving her a threatening glare. Rin and Shiho's have them squabbling with Rin trying to put pants on Shiho and Shiho trying to strip Rin.
I forgot the rest.
Damn I wanna see those. =[
The raw of chapter 129 is finally out (looks like we'll have them on Sunday instead of Friday now). "If I can't find an ideal man, I just have to raise one!"
…This chapter… it crosses the line so many times it bends space backwards. And once again, being Shirou is suffering. Though this time he kinda brought it on himself.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Last episode: good and bad things in it.
The good things: Genjirou and Touko might be the only part that the anime got completely right. I was skeptical about Koyama voicing Genjirou, but he was surprisingly perfect. Touko's voice is quite lovely too, although we don't get to hear it that much. Genjirou panicking because his wife got a benign cold was both sweet and totally in character. The "twist" in the middle of the episode also seemed like the sort of thing that could actually happen in the manga (cf. chapter 90). So the first 15 minutes were quite decent…
…And then the anime went back to its usual fault: being way too fucking serious. Asahi believing in the "memory erasing device" was already kinda dumb in the manga, but at least it only lasted a few pages in an early chapter. But no, the anime felt the need to use that device again, in a painfully drawn out scene. All this ends on a manga scene (Genjirou running behind the car and waving at his daughter), but it doesn't remove the bad taste left by those last minutes.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Chap 94. Oh, Genjirou, you try way too hard to keep the illusion going.
Of course Shima likes Yumi... Another traumatizing event that only Shima's capable of may be on the horizon!?
Damn, Karen's way too accepting to be an angel. Especially after playing SMT.
After playing what?
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Shin Megami Tensei. God is evil, angels are jerks, demons are also jerks but more popular with the fans.
I'm pretty sure that Shimada might actually [[ Literal-Minded tackled (or heavily implied.) Ryou]] in Chapter 88 because of the speech in the Chinese scanlation which Karen tells him to tackle as hard as possible which ends with a horrified Ryou and Shinmada got arrested.
Chapter 102 has Yumi tells Shimada to tackle as hard as possible. Which ends with a horrified Ryou and Shimada got arrested for the third time.
I'm not even sure which translation is more accurate. But whatever.
EDIT: sheesh i lost count how many times i edit this damn post

Wow, there's Implausible Deniability and then there this. Only Karen would even consider beliving such obvious and nonsensical lie. Genjirou to pwned hard, especially once Akane showed up.
...and then the chapter went from hilarious to way too real in one panel I'm not about to be exposed at this school again!"
That was some raw emotion there.
Of course then it went back to hilarious.
Dude, spoilers. There are people who doesn't read tbe RAW
That's another great thing with Jitsu wa, really. It rarely takes itself seriously, but when it does, even for a few pages, it does it right. That's why I said I'd be curious to see an actual serious series from Masuda after Jitsu wa (there's How to Make an Invisible Man, but it's a short story − although a poignant one).

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.^^^ No, I think about half of the main cast would believe him.
Youko would, no doubt about it. Mikan or Shiho, though? Nah, they're not that dumb.
Chapter 130 (and yeah, flamemario, don't forget the spoilers): the Beach Episode is back! Shiho had a frightening power up after confessing to Asahi. As proof, she no longer says "Hmm~" but "Hmmm~" like her mom!
The return of troll Youko towards Akane. I missed that. And Akane taking her revenge at the end…
With that kind-of cliffhanger I have a feeling something's gonna happen next chapter with Youko's "bloodlust".
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Oh yeah, Shimada got arrested again in Chapter 130 though there's no sight of Ryou. But who cares about him anyway.

At that moment I felt really bad for laughing at him. It was like "Oh, yeah, it must have been really hard for him to get found out. Poor guy." I'm impressed at how the chapter conveyed the emotions in one panel. Kudos.
I do wonder though. Akane raised a good point, why does Genjirou insists so much on taking Youko home if he knows exactly how miserable it feels?
Also, the one panel flashback to Youko's mother makes me think that Genjirou knows that Asahi knows, but wants to see if he can keep the secret.
oh come on, not even Youko is this dense. Right?

Not sure, but my guess is that he considers it a lesser evil. She was lucky enough to be found out by Asahi, but someone else could have reacted… differently. She says so herself in the first chapter: she expected the person who found out to lose their shit and run screaming. Which is probably what happened to her dad, in front of the entire freaking school.
I… I would like to say she isn't, but…

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.I just finished reading Sakura Discord, all of it.
No surprise there, it's pretty damn good. More surprising is the drastic difference in tone, especially in the first half of the story. SD is a mostly serious story with comedic parts. It reflects in the art: by the end it basically looks like Jitsu wa's early chapters, but much more polished. Yes, more. With lots of georgeous double pages and big toothy smiles. It's now pretty clear to me that the rapid art change in Jitsu wa was because Masuda realized SD's artstyle wasn't gonna work for his new series.
Now about the story… I certainly wouldn't say it's perfect − the writing sometimes feels a bit preachy and heavy-handed ("One more step…" "One more step…" YEAH WE GET IT), and some of the drama feels overblown or superfluous (notably that WTF scene with Scary!Mebuki on the roofor the part about Shuuichi and Haruka's dead little brother. But the comedy works wonderfully (though it's not nearly as over-the-top as in Jitsu wa), and the melancholic atmosphere is really immersive. I generally prefered the last two volumes, precisely because it didn't give that "trying too hard" vibe as much and focused more on the characters having fun together while reflecting on themselves.
And one thing that didn't change: Masuda really knows how to write confession scenes. And how to write his characters in general. Oka and Sumiyoshi could have been handled a bit better I think (I'd have liked to see Oka and Mebuki act more like a couple, really), but otherwise I like all of them.
It was also pretty fun to see "ancestors" of some Jitsu wa characters − SD!Oka seems to be the opposite of Jitsu!Oka, but has that little cunning side occasionally showing. SD!Shima is also the opposite of Jitsu!Shima, but already had the jealousy part. Mebuki had both some of Akane's and some of Shiho's expressions and traits. Sumiyoshi has a few very Aizawa-ish reactions (and calls Kousuke by his full name for some reason). Nomiya… didn't really remind me of any Jitsu wa character actually. She's just her own wonderful self.
Anyway, it was an interesting read. I liked the theme of facing your past to finally move forward. It's nothing new, but it was well done (though as I said, not always perfectly). You could say the romance was almost a secondary aspect.
And that was my little review. /o/

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.…Seriously, Masuda, draw a horror manga. It has to happen.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. My tounge is not Korean; besides the confirmation that the shady doppleganger girl in that one color pic is pretty much Youko afterna shot of Bloody Mary, what did Akane say in that last page?
Something about becoming a vampire, blood addiction, a warning about a split personality, or...?

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018Err, yes it is Korean…?
From what google translate's Korean-to-Japanese tl tells me (so totally reliable!), Akane says: "The last time I asked you what you saw on this picture [chapter 111], you didn't answer "a vampire" but "Shiragami Youko". Now, let me ask you the same question again: what do you see on this picture?"
So, Akane being Akane, basically.
…Korean scans being available several days before the raws is a tad annoying. It's become much harder to avoid early spoilers. =_="
Oh, okay. X)

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Oh, when I said "this tongue", I meant my tongue. Should have used "this one's tongue".
Or just "my tongue". That would have worked.
...Fixing.
That aside, that clears up auite a bit. Well...Things are moving. Let's see if this be the beginning of the end, or a Jitsu Wa brand fakeout.
