Agreed. Amber is in her late 20's, Ruby is younger, but still not a child or young teen. And it's not an example of the trope at all. The trope is "In a work with young ( child or young teen) protagonists, adults who could or should take action don't, because them doing so would prevent the kids from playing any meaning role in the plot."
God, that definition needs TRS badly, as well.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.That image is useless.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. One would think that Teens up through Highschool would fit.
A more general the general 'kids just do everything because plot and demographics demand it' trope with us tropes covering
- Adults Are Oblivious
- 'Adults tried something but are useless its up to the kids to do it!' Connected to The Worf Effect
- Adults just stand and watch or push them to achieve'
Anyway yeah the picture shows nothing.

Age questions aside, nothing in the current image looks like a child by any definition at all. Yank it.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAgreed. Supporting the motion to pull.
Pluck.
Check out my fanfiction!Clock is set.
Clock's up; locking for inactivity. No further action is to be taken based on this thread.
I'm not seeing how the image is relevant to the trope at all. Both characters in the picture are adults (albeit young adults), and their parents failing to call ahead doesn't really strike the right chord with me. Motion to pull.
