Crown Description:
Ship Mates was launched (and is still defined on some other pages) with one definition. Somehow, at some point, it was changed to another entirely different definition, on which a good number of examples are currently based. Which definition should hold? (A future crowner will determine what happens to the "losing" definition.)

Okay, so I noticed on the main page that it says on the bottom that it is also known as "sideshipping". I think "Ship Mates" sounds more like Friendly Fandoms involving shipping, whereas "sideshipping" sounds more like Pair the Spares to make way for a Fan-Preferred Couple. What do you all think?
