Putting this out here before I forget it.

• Alternate Universe Name: New Age Gundam Frontier
• General Description: Think Gundams running around on Pandora while monsters too large to fight on foot are wandering around.
• Setting: N.A.^* New Age 151. The planet Inceptius is the first - and so far, only - human colony beyond our solar system. Though its landscape, flora and fauna easily dwarf human beings, they did not come unprepared: giant bipedal machines - Mobile Suits - aid them in their work and travels. Many have come to this new frontier for a new start; to find adventure, riches, and renown... but as is human nature, there are those who have brought their greed, their bloodlust, and their grudges here as well.
• Events: The city-state of Athena, home of Gundam Industries, has put out a call for freelance pilots. Their task: to accompany a caravan carrying newly-designed Gundam parts and supplies to the port city of Poseidon. Recent attacks by assorted unaffiliated bandits and radical elements have made the usual air-based transport difficult and unsafe, so GI has opted to keep the transport grounded this time. The caravan will have to pass through the massive area called the Chloros Blanket - a large, dense forest that separates the two cities, known for somehow being able to limit the effectiveness of even the most advanced of radar systems. It is GI's hope that the unique properties of this area can serve as cover for their caravan so it can reach Poseidon safely.
• Goal/Ending:
  • GI Forces: successfully navigate the Chloros Blanket and reach Poseidon with the caravan.
  • Bandits/Radicals: successfully steal the caravan/its cargo and escape the Chloros Blanket.
• Notes:
  • To allow most Mobile Suits from various series in the franchise to be used here, there will be three Mobile Suit manufacturers working on this world:
    • Zodiac Trade Corporation - develops the most common, 'workforce' built mobile suits, ranging from their cheap, but classic Zaku II (their most popular unit) to its most recent iteration, the versatile Zaku Warrior. This company's trademark is its 'monoeye' head design across many of its suits.
    • Gundam Industries - a company that established itself by copying and improving on design elements done by Zodiac. While their designs tend to be superior to Zodiac-built parts in various aspects, the higher cost of development of said parts keeps them from dominating the older company in mobile suit development. This company's trademark is the distinct, mask-like face of their suits.
    • Morgenroete Research and Development - a smaller company that focuses on truly high-end, high-performance mobile suit parts based on similar models from ZTC and GI. Naturally, said equipment is also quite expensive, and having even one of their parts equipped on your mobile suit means you're moving up in the world. While most of their catalog is available for public purchase (given you have the funds), some are 'invite-only' purchases, done by Morgenroete's various high level officials. There are even rumors of them developing truly astounding equipment, like a system that can interface directly with the pilot's mind, allowing them to control their mobile suite as if it literally were their own body, or a GN^* Gundam Nucleus Drive - a technology thought to be too complex and too resource-heavy on manufacturing to be attached to anything other than the massive starships capable of quantum teleportation that brought humanity here - that is now small enough to be mounted on a mobile suit...
  • Pilots do not have their own powers; any applicable abilities are instead given to their mobile suit of choice. The only pilot-based powers that will be available are Newtype-style powers: enhanced awareness and reflexes, intuitive piloting, ability to sense other 'Newtypes' based on that person's 'power level', etc.

This is actually an idea I've had brewing in my head for a while, of an World of Adventure-style Gundam story ala MS Saga: A New Dawn rather than the standard War Is Hell scenario.

Wasn't really sure how to react to the last post, to be honest. And my time's a little more limited now.

Well, I'm not sure what I can do to proceed either. Twins wait for Ryan, Lotton's in there, but otherwise not much else I can do. :/

There, that is my effort at CPR. After Gojira reacts to people alternately wanting to protect him and hand him over to the bounty hunters, I'll throw Ryan in the midst.

As a side note, feel free to guess which constructs are inhabited by which animals.

Yes. The general idea is that they all look pretty much the same, just with different sizes and abilities depending on the animals inhabiting them. Looking back over my post, I also realize I forgot to put that there are only four of Meta's attackers.

Another Challenge Idea:

Alt Universe Name: One Week at Freddy's
Setting: In some town, somewhere in the United States, there sits a place called Freddy Fazbear's Funhouse. It was a former restaurant that was one of many that tried to cash in on the craze of mascot driven, family friendly restaurants started by Chuck E Cheese. And just like those many, it eventually fell into ruin. It would be merely a statistic, its name falling into obscurity by the mists of time. Unfortunately, the tale of its fall it what made this place so infamous to stand out. The place would have eventually closed down naturally due to financial trouble, what with the owners buying failed experimental military androids and the costs of maintaining them and repurposing them for the civilian duty of entertaining children. However, there was that brutal murder of five children in the backstage area by a serial killer wearing a modified mascot costume, the infamous bite of '87, and the string of minimum wage rent-a-cops that seemed to periodically vanish between the hours of 12 - 6am.

What finally brought the nail down in the establishment's coffin was the story told of the only security guard to come out of the place alive.....of how the mascots tried to kill him for every night for an entire harrowing week and half a week after that......how he was fired for making them docile......and the evidence implicating the owners for partially knowing what was going on.......

Originally, the restaurant was to be closed down by the end of the fiscal year, the owners filing for bankruptcy. Instead, the place was shut down almost immediately after the survivor's story came out. Since then, the only people going near are public city workers coming to convert the building into an emergency shelter, and even they almost refuse to go near it. Not even the animatronics were moved out, but instead locked in away, with the intention of never being released. It has been then town's own ghost story, something of macabre urban legends to scare children and the subject of many a documentary.

Event: The year is 1996. A massive blizzard hits the town, catching many off guard. For some unlucky people, both citizens of the town and outsiders, the only shelter from the storm is one Freddy Fazbear's Funhouse. Only the year previous it had been converted into a shelter, the only designated shelter still open to still have power and supplies. The storm will be lasting for one week, and the people only have to worry about the fabled murderous Freddy and his friends. Luckily, the Survivor had managed to change their programming on its lowest level, making them perfectly docile. No way that the angry ghosts of the murder victims are able to randomly reset the mascots' aggression to its highest setting one at a time! This means everyone can safely sit down the storm and rest easy, right?

...........right?

DON'T GO INTO THE KITCHEN!!!

Conditions:

• All the P Cs have enough food and water to last the week. However, these resources at not the most important things to worry about.
• The generator have to be manually recharged everyday, with it draining the power very quickly from 12 - 6am. This is also the time one of the mascots except Freddy will become hostile....
  • If there is no power, Freddy will automatically become hostile.
  • The power cannot be recharged until after 6am.
• When the mascots become hostile, they will automatically go for anyone in the security room, which is the only room where someone can easily track everyone's movements, including the mascots.
• The kitchen is off limits to the PC characters, and only the mascots can enter it. The camera in there is busted, and then doors are oddly impenetrable to anything short of structurally damaging means.
• All P Cs are normal humans in this event. No superpowers, no overt supernatural abilities, no magic, no super weapons or whatever. Extremely low Class 1 are allowed in the case of hardened soldiers, assassins, and low level psychics, but other than that they got nothing but their wits and whatever they can use for weapons.
• Mascots will automatically stop attacking at 6am, no matter what they are doing. Any damage done to them will also be mysteriously reversed..........
• At least one person WILL die per night for the first six nights. If more than one mascot becomes hostile, it means that either the previous one is defeated......or has already claimed a victim before the night is out.....
  • Freddy is always the last mascot to go hostile before the power goes out. Once he claims a victim, the mascots automatically become docile.
  • Once a PC is killed, they are permanently out of the event.

Goal/Ending:

• There are survivors by the end of the week.
• Golden Ending: Only six people maximum die.

Oh Hell the Fuck YES!

I am down for this!

Logical problem: there is literally no reason to not dismantle the mascots after the first night. If the restaurant is shut down and management is gone, nothing is stopping the characters from taking Freddy and Friends apart.

You'd have to say that the animatronics were locked away somewhere that no one could reach but the cameras could still see, and they only mysteriously come out at night. That way, they can't be touched during the day.

Plus there's Golden Freddy, who only appears once the other four are defeated and acts too quickly to defend against.

That can definitely work. I'll edit that in right now!

Considering that one of our characters is an eight foot tall super soldier with a fixation on taking heads and another is God-freakin'-zilla, that is something that may need to be taken into account.

But, I'm sure we can make this work.

Once again, Golden Freddy. Plus I mentioned that all the P Cs will be regular humans with only abilities that can be portrayed as if they were normal humans. Eight foot, ripped Badass Normals with a high tolerance for pain, but normal nonetheless.

If my post makes no sense, it's because I'm somewhat confused about the current situation.
