Really?

I keep forgetting Naoto is supposed to have Gag Boobs. It's never been a thing in the Shin Megami Tensei series, unless you count Devil Survivor and Devil Survivor 2.

The closest thing to an indication of that in vanilla P4 was her not wanting the others to see her measurements after their checkup.

Well, except for Rise, who did see it.

The thing is, Naoto was able to believably pass herself off as a guy, so how stacked can she really be?

Apparently, more than anyone else in the game.

You would be surprised at what I've seen girls pull off before, it's not totally outside the realm of possibility with enough dedication.

Honestly, I look at it more as a Rule of Funny Fandom Nod.

Finally got sick of this last ep and skipped the last few minutes.

And so, Marie went towards her calling, her duty. What was it? To be Nanako's favorite weather forecaster, of course!

And now, I've gotten the gist of things. Maybe I should find a couple of walkthroughs to garner an even better understanding of this series...

Wait....You got into P4 though This anime? Not the other one?

I would....go watch the other one too. and keep in mind that that one is much more accurate than this one....for certain degrees of accurate.

W-wait, I meant that by watching both anime series, I got the gist of it. Sorry about the confusion.

Or at least thats the impression I get on the Persona thread in the games section.

Mostly from pacing issues. Trying to compress an 80-hour game into a 26 episode anime is a monumental task by anyone's standards. Even cutting out all the dungeon crawling and saving just the plot bosses still leaves an inordinate amount of time in cutscenes and Social Links. It's a wonder the first anime turned out as well as it did.

Yeah, I was just saying that P 4 GA was much more compressed than P 4 A. P 4 A also gives a much better impression of the series. It's not perfect, but it's a lot better.

That's the order of the original series and this series if you want the full story and the new episodes thrown in between the main story episodes.

My one concern with that order there is that Golden gives a LOT of the plot away ahead of time, especially the Adachi episode. First-timers should really just watch the first anime chronologically.

Had a good laugh with the ending. XD

Episode 11 - a feel-good story, for sure. I liked how Marie finally admitted "Yeah, I was lying; I want to stay with you after all," the Personas evolving, the hug with Narukami, Rise's freak out at the hug, Marie being funny, the Valentines Day scene, the Slime chocolate from Nanako, the recreation of the hotspring scene, and Marie being a Tsundere - all of it was nice.

Episode 12 - That entire opening sequence? With Marie's body disappearing, Izanami confronting everyone by possessing Marie, the heart to heart with Marie and Narukami just before the rain? Izanami basically taunting Narukami by choking Marie, and Marie breaking free? That was a fantastic addition. It was also a nice touch to see Izanami taunt Narukami, Marie saving Narukami, and Narukami's genuine grief at the idea of losing Marie for good. Seeing Marie transform into The Hero was a nice touch as well - it was her right to beat Izanami more than anyone else.

Trying to see if the show's OST has the electric guitar rendition of "Aria of the Soul".

Watched the first episode. Yu being awesome Yu was...not awesome, but amused me a whole lot.

I have a feeling that I'm not going go like this new girl a whole lot.

She's kind of tacked on to the series in general as a sort of author preferred canon love interest thing for Yu. which makes sense from a mythological standpoint given she's an avatar of Izanami and Yu's main persona is Izanagi-no-Okami, but feels out of place when it's not written into the main plot from the get go . And given that her social link was mostly about how she reacted to the other social link peeps, she didn't leave much of an impression beyond "intentionally cliche tsundere".

Well, Chie was the best girl after all.

Marie isn't as Hot-Blooded or hyper violent as the cliche Tsundere.

She's much better written overall than most like her.

That's not a very high standard to overcome, honestly.

She's only written better than most if you're including garbage shows. She isn't bad, but she's definitely nothing special.
