"And you must be Jonathan Joestar!" - SueThat PV is pretty. Apparently NGNL is Madhouse practicing with colors. That said, this just got bumped to my watchlist.
Correction: The first chapter was translated shortly before the anime was announced
But, yeah, decent series, and the anime looks good
Haha, yeah, it looks great.
Oh, and for reference, this was the other pic I was thinking of using for the series page, but I just ended up using Volume 1's cover, as I've been doing that since Yuyushiki anyway.
God, that blonde girl is CREEPY.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy Ent
She's an American, and yet constantly given UFO comparisons by Naru in the introductory chapters. Think about that. XD
Well, this is from Kirara Forward. I expect this to be Darker and Edgier than the usual Kirara show.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaIsn't that like saying something is darker than the sun and edgier than a nerf-bat?
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntI think what Curt means is that Forward handles more conventional, non-4koma narratives. I mean, just look at Yumekui Merry, which is an action-adventure with a male co-MC.
This is what I mean. I was comparing Kirara Forward to the "Stardard" Kirara's (Kirara, Kirara Max and Kirara Caret).
From what I've read of the manga, this'll venture more into dramedy territory than the various 4koma series have, but it won't be until Gakkou Gurashi airs that we'll get an MTK series that qualifies as 'dark'
This. And lots of dancing.
I expect whatever conflict we'll get will be simply connected to Naru's self-esteem issues.

As long as it heals my darkened soul from hell and doesn't have overly forced and dramatic....drama, I'm cool with it.
"And you must be Jonathan Joestar!" - SueNew PV! And along with it, what is apparently the ED song.
And yes, hot darn this is very pretty.

Madhouse putting its colorful animation to good use. I can feel it, this will be AOTS material. I feel it in my guts, it's going to be great.
ED? You sure? Cuz that song gave me an opening song vibe to be honest. Not complaining either way tho, sounds like a nice song.
EDIT: Nop, my fault. It says right there in the video, ED theme.

"And you must be Jonathan Joestar!" - SueFirst episode tomorrow! Get hype!
Oh, and a little trivia about the staff: the director (Ishizuka Atsuko, the 32-year-old woman who directed Sakurasou and No Game No Life, and directed ten eps of NANA) and the writer (Yoshida Reiko, who wrote Marimite, K-On and many other big shows).
Plus we have three Wake-Up Girls alumna, which means singing — likely connected to Yaya's Light Music Club.
Holy heck, was the first episode pretty. It's also interesting to note how the studio seems to be playing up how seemingly superhuman Hannah is.
Gotta agree - this is an insanely pretty anime. And the first anime I've seen that interestingly, made me believe there was actual air in the drawings. Like, oxygen, and not just negative space. In drawings. The diffusion of light, colours, the lens flares and particles... they were all used well and were pretty... immersive?
Working on a manga. With pictures! All feedback welcome!I... uh... wow. I think this is the first time I've had my expectations so exceeded by something I was looking forward to to begin with
Ok, I gotta admit, when you want quality animation done right, you go to Madhouse. That was pretty cool
Oh hey this had a thread? I will just restate that this isn't what I expected at all genre-wise, but it was entertaining, well made, and should do well as the shoujo-ai anime of the season.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Oh, for it's worth, the author ships Kaguya x Mokou, Chihaya x Haruka, and Satsuki x Nonon
What I can say is that the use of light has became Ishizuka's Creator Thumbprint.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra Nova
Since the show starts airing on 7/7, might as well get this out of the way, especially since it's the Manga Time Kirara show of the season.
PV:
Series page.
As one can see, despite there being four volumes out, no one's actually paid attention enough to translate this prior to the anime. Only three chapters have been translated as a result, which will mostly be covered by the first episode of the anime too so...
