Hey at least we got Joseph Staten back at Halo, if the new novel is anything to go by.
I Bring Doom, and a bit of gloom, but mostly gloom. And the fact the Grunts speak in hilarious English again. I'm sorry but the switch to alien Black Speech in Halo: Reach and Halo 4 was a bad idea.
"Allah may guide their bullets, but Jesus helps those who aim down the sights."I liked the alien speech in Reach, but I wouldn't have minded having the IWHBYD skull make them speak English again.
On a related note, I obtained some Reach voice clips a few weeks ago with the help of Lord Zedd and some of the Halopedians claim to hear a Grunt saying "Thel 'Vadamee".

Speaking of Covies, here's the Canon Modder from the last week.
World Whosball Champion 1945-1991Nice to see that the Elites have apparently gotten over their lack of technical expertise.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.So the Elites Took a Level in Badass since the departure of the San'Shyuum? Nice.
Now let's hope the UNSC took one or more levels themselves.
"Allah may guide their bullets, but Jesus helps those who aim down the sights."Some more Warzone stuff:
Looking at it, I noticed that a lot of the item descriptions indicate that different skins of the same weapon also have different perks, such as a version of the Incineration Cannon that can fire tracking charges. In fact, I think the player in the video at one point had a battle rifle that seemed to be firing hard light, given how everyone he killed with it seemed to disintegrate.

World Whosball Champion 1945-1991I'm liking the new 100% Sangheili designs.
Obviously the San'Shyuum banned such artistry out of jealousy.
Borne By StormsDid you miss the part where Infinity can splatter CCS-class battlecruisers without taking a dent?
And the stuff in Halo Fleet Battles has shown a lot of new human ship designs now. I wouldn't be surprised to see more powerful MAC gun rounds, energy shield, and even, eventually, pulse lasers of their own on ships in the future.

That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.The new Frigate that escorts the infinity has shields and pulse lasers already I think.
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsThe Strident-class? Doesn't say so on the wiki.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.So, apparently, if you preorder the H5 soundtrack on iTunes, you get the first 5 tracks now. Some kind soul uploaded 4 of them.

The Trials is kind of blowing my mind.
"Notably, these vessels are equipped with energy shields, a significant development over prior UNSC vessels which had to rely on only their Titanium-A battleplate for protection.[3]"
Direct from halopedia.
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsYes, but no pulse lasers.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Got that bit screwed up with prowlers.
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des Ursins(x4)*listens* It's... beautiful.
Some of the violin parts are a little too high-pitched for me, but the triumphant parts and the return of the horns are amazing.

Looks fun. Really fun. As in "I don't care I just got killed, this is awesome!" fun.
"Allah may guide their bullets, but Jesus helps those who aim down the sights."Yeah, that seems like a really fun game mode.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.As much as it sounds to me like a great thing because it'll allow me to go off and screw with the AI enemies and ignore the enemy players, I highly doubt it will stay that pristine, and will rapidly devolve into yet another typical matchmaking game with everyone ignoring the AI in favor of teabagging each other.
Isn't it vital that you hold bases and stuff to get points?
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.It contributes.
Holding bases does more for the overall game than killing other Spartans. The gametype seems very similar to Titanfall, and that game was exceptional when it came to giving you a variety of options on how to contribute to the score. For warzone the map is so freaking huge that you aren't going to run into the problem of someone camping with a shotgun racking up an Invincible streak and being solely responsible for winning the match.
^ Pretty much that. From what I understand objectives and AI bosses are worth more than potentially hundreds of enemy players. Especially when it comes to awarding REQ cards.
"Allah may guide their bullets, but Jesus helps those who aim down the sights."
Referring to Joseph Staten leaving, the feud between Martin O'Donnell and Bungie, and the rumors of Destiny's Troubled Production. The assumption had been that the Activision deal had fueled the recent bad blood, and not that this went a decade even earlier.
Well this is a grim thing to start a page on.
