I'm a bit cautious on subject of teleporting, sorry.
I suppose if it's a short range teleportation it might be able to work however.
How do lizards fly?Last I checked, that is how Nightcrawler worked.
Alright, did my homework. Seems like he might be okay although I'd like to see a sheet first.
How do lizards fly?First time someone shortened my handle to 'Dese'. Anyway, sheet incoming.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundA maybe from me. In another RP right now...
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"@Fergard Stratoavis With his weights removed, Lee can Flash Step. As mentioned on that trope's page.
What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?DMC Dante.
"Hey you! Nano-something or other!"@Kage: Looks okay in my book. Accepted.
@Ominae and Dese(hope you don't mind): There's no rush. :)
@Ragna: The punk in a wifebeater or the classic one?
In any case, as long as he doesn't have his most powerful weapons available(Time Hax, Majin Devil Trigger, Pandora), he should be okay.

How do lizards fly?- Name: Kaarness. Tends to tack 'Knight of the Republic' to the end of it when he feels formal.
- Age: twenties.
- Universe: Star Wars: The Old Republic.
- Personality: Kaarness is a stereotypical Jedi Knight. Tightly controlling his emotions, he is stoic to the point of asceticism. He serves the Galactic Republic in any way he can, and protects her citizens. He aids those in need without a second thought, rushing into battle and risking his life if the need arises.
However, he is somewhat of a loner, and can come off as detached sometimes. He's also not very popular with less-than-honest people due to his single-minded honesty and his focus on finding the truth behind things. - Personal Appearance: Mugshot;◊ full-body picture.◊
- Powers/Abilities: Kaarness is trained both in lightsaber combat and in using the Force. He's also a competent strafighter pilot and speeder-bike rider. The following abilities are particularly noteworthy:
- Blade Storm: Kaarness uses the Force to fire a Sword Beam from one of his lightsabers. It has a chance to stun whoever it hits.
- Force Kick: Kaarness' kicks hit even when they don't!
- Force Leap: using the Force, Kaarness can leap up to thirty metres away without a running start; this is his tried-and-tested combat starter as combining the leap's momentum with a lightsaber strike vastly empowers it.
- Force Stasis: Kaarness can use the Force to deaden the target's senses and freeze them in place for a short while.
- Force Swipe: a high jump attack that causes a five-metre-wide shockwave upon landing.
- Lightsaber Combat: Kaarness is trained in the Jar'Kai variants of Forms I,, IV and Juyo; he prefers the acrobatic Ataru Form and uses two lightsabers, one blue-bladed, one red.
- Saber Throw: because Throwing Your Sword Always Works.
- Equipment: aside from his lightsabers, Kaarness only carries the clothes on his back, a holocom, and a few medpacs.
- Backstory: the Padawan-learner of Master Orgus Din, the Zabrak named Kaarness arrived at the Jedi's ancestral world of Tython in a time of crisis. Stopping the berserking Flesh Raiders from assaulting the Jedi Temple and defeating a Dark Jedi named Bengal Morr, he was Knighted without much ceremony and sent to recover a top-secret weapons project from the Republic's capital of Coruscant. In the process, he killed a Sith Lord, Tarnis, whose father Darth Angral swore vengeance on the young Jedi.
Kaarness travelled across the galaxy, first to the ruined planet Taris in order to find a cybernetics expert, then to Nar Shadaa where his friend Agent Galen of the Strategic Information Service went missing after he inquired about another secret project — the Power Guard programme. Encountering a man of Ipsum in a seedy cantina in Nar Shadaa's Promenade, he decided to help him, thinking that it will only take a small amount of his time...

The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground@Fergard: I did actually plan on how Doomguy carries all his stuff. And while I'm sad to see the BFG go, I guess that's just will have to happen. Though it's perhaps possible to get it back as a sort of 11th-Hour Superpower
Sometimes I even amaze myself. Currently: Nice and sneaky like@Kaarness: Looking good. Welcome aboard. :)
@Luke: That's a possibility to think through. Welcome aboard. :)
How do lizards fly?I've fixed the picture. Deku nuts work like modern-day flashbangs; they stun the opponent with a bright flash when thrown on the ground. They do physical damage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but I'd imagine they wouldn't hurt too much if you were hit by one. It's an escape plan more than a practical weapon.
Looks like Daltar and I are going to have some interesting moments! I assume they'll be from two different Hyrules? The Link in Twilight Princess is male, and I don't plan on changing that. Still, I find it really funny that we're both trying to be "Link," in a way.
Finally, there's something I wanted to ask you, Fergard: how much does the Ipsum Man explain? Does he explicitly talk about a separate universe that follows separate rules, and that he's gathering heroes from all corners of the multiverse? I'd imagine that might be tough to understand for some characters.
My Link would be from a different time period from your Zelda... Hmmm still have not decided whenever from the past of the future. Possibly from the Adult Timeline after Link defeated Ganondorf but before he revives and the Goddesses flood the world.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.I'm not worried about the timeline clutter (I won't go into details, but that theory and I don't mix), just about any lin...connections...between your Hyrule and mine. For example, do you have a Lost Woods, Gerudo Desert, Castle Town, etc.? Do you have a Shadow/Twilight Realm that Link knows about? Your background story doesn't sound familiar to me, so I want to get a sense of what we'll have in common.
I'm practically inventing my own period in the Timeline so... Yes. There is a Lost Woods, Gerudo Desert and such. There should be a Twilight Realm but my Link knows nothing of it haven't not encountered it. There is Castle Town and a Zelda, but my Link has not met her yet. From what I'm thinking, my Zelda would either be a descendant of your Zelda or an alternate one from another timeline.
Hmmm if we want to keep it sequential, then we can have my girl come from the future beyond Twilight Princess and come from a village similar (or the same village but in the future) from Link in Twilight Princess.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.@Ted: He's rather vague in his descriptions, but does mention a world that needs help that only comers from different worlds can bring. If he has to deal with more morally dubious characters, he will usually offer something in return for helping although something that can be indeed done by his hand.
How do lizards fly?@Daltar: Assuming the Ipsum man can travel through time as well as space, I have no objections. Thank ya!
@Fergard: Wonderful! I'll simply take it that Zelda's been told of other realms beside her own (which she knows already), and that she is not the only hero being recruited. That sound good? Oh, and feel free to call me Theo if you want.
My general assumption was that he simply informs them via supreme telepathy, but this can work too. That way, every character would see someone different rather than the same guy.
Also, noted. :)
How do lizards fly?I'm probably interested, I only just noticed this. Chances are, after playing Saints Row IV way too much I'll end up using Matt Miller. Because one can never have too much GIFT.
Just want to know though, Saints Row IV isn't that old of a game, so should I be spoiler-aware and use Saints Row the Third Matt or am I okay to use Saints Row IV Matt?
N.B. Matt will likely be The Load. Which is always a fun role to play.
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.I'd say to be careful unless those spoilers aren't anything of grave importance.
How do lizards fly?Yeah, I wanna buy Saints Row IV this summer. No spoilers please!
Tentatively interested!
I'm busy trying to decide between young!Joseph Joestar or a heavily nerfed Cars. I find both interesting characters... should I just post sheets for both of them and let everyone else weigh in?
EDIT:
On second thoughts, even nerfed!Cars would probably be too strong due to his ability to change the shape of his body with ease.

Locking you up on radar since '09@Saints Row Spoilers: Well, the question has answered itself.
@Flanker: I'll leave that up to your judgment. In any case, I'll be happy to have one more player on board. :)
How do lizards fly?•Name: Chrona and Ragnarok
•Age: 16 •Universe: Soul Eater anime-verse •Personality: Chrona is timid, easily frightened by situations he isn't familiar with, and has a mild guilt complex. Ragnarok, however, is rude, brash, easily angered, and extremely greedy.
•Personal Appearance: Appearance◊
•Powers/Abilities: Chrona is a swordsman, has a high intellect, can use 'black blood', a substance found in Chronas body, for various purposes, including:
-Hardening: Ragnarok can harden the black blood in Chrona's blood, making him extremely durable, especially against cutting or piercing weapons.
-Healing: Ragnarok can heal Chrona's wounds. However, only the more minor of his wounds may heal this way. More major wounds, while healing faster, still take a significant time to regenerate
Furthermore, Ragnarok may transform into a sword, meaning Chrona is almost always armed. In this form, he can vibrate at high speeds, allowing him to further damage his targets, however, this tends to be draining. Ragnarok can also shift into a set of wings, allowing Chrona temporary flight.
•Equipment: None
•Alignment: White
•Backstory: The son of a witch named Medusa, Chrona was raised with one goal in mind: To become a Kishin. To this end, at a very young age, his blood was replaced by a creature named Ragnarok, a organism made out of a substance known as 'black blood'. He was then forced to kill small animals by his mother, who was hoping to remove his ability to feel empathy. Eventually, after he had grown a certain age, his mother decided to have him start hunting humans. Killing them and feeding them to Ragnarok, he would likely have become a kishin were it not for one person. Maka Albarn. The first person to ever try to befriend him, she showed him the error of his ways. The instance where this occurred was in the basement of the DWMA, where a being known as Asura slept. His mother had gathered several allies and assaulted the DWMA in a bid to resurrect Asura. During this assault, Chrona's mother was , seemingly, slain, and after Maka Albarn purged the souls residing in Ragnarok, Chrona realized how manipulated he had been by his 'mother'. However, Asura was still revived. Joining the DWMA, he did his best to reform and hunt Asura. However, unbeknownst to the DWMA, Medusa survived via possessing a child named Rachel, and contacted Chrona. Terrified, he, at his mothers bidding, spied for her, and did some things he would later regret. Fleeing into the desert, he was determined to disappear. He was retrieved, however, by Maka, and brought back to the DWMA. There, he resolved to fix his mistakes by going after his 'mother' and retrieving a teacher from the DWMA who had been infected by madness. However, once there, he found fighting his mother and the brainwashed teacher was a LITTLE harder than anticipated. Disabling Chrona's black blood, were it not for the timely arrival of Maka, he would have died. Together, he, Maka, and Marie, the teacher sent with them, and Soul, Maka's weapon, were able to fight off both Medusa and Stein, the brainwashed teacher. Unfortunately, Medusa sent a attack at Maka that would have killed her. Not having enough time to warn her, he pushed her out of the way, taking the attack, which nearly killed him. Maka went into a blind rage, and nearly killed Chrona's mother, which would have killed Rachel as well. Marie managed to calm her down and reverse Steins brainwashing before this happened, however. Now calm, Maka used a technique that would destroy Medusa without harming Rachel, ending her once and for all. Severely injured, Chrona was taken back to the DWMA, which was currently involved in a rather violent battle involving Asura, where he was treated. Long story short, Asura was defeated by the efforts of Maka, Soul, and five others. Fast forward a year later, and Chrona, still guilty over what he did, gets approached by a mysterious figure, and informed of this other worlds peril. Hoping that aiding this other world would absolve him of his guilt, he agrees to help them.
•Other: Did my best to keep it canon, that being said, been a few months since I saw Soul Eater, may have gotten one or two facts wrong. Sorry. Also, couldn't find a GOOD picture with a mini-ragnarok, so just picture a chibi version of the Ragnarok in the picture. (FYI: Ragnarok is the one sticking out of chrona's back)
