Prolly just become incredibly good friends with the guy. Novice's abilities are actually pretty well-suited for vigilante work, as (probably) is his general temperament.
Although, he might disagree with Batman's rules sufficiently that a partnership wouldn't last too long; I can see the No Killing rule, of all things, being a sticking point. He did originate in a fighting thread, after all.
In a legit for-keeps fight, I think Novice has a pretty good chance; after all, he can do a few things better (blocking, flying), and can ignore a lot of everything else (negate projectiles, ignore anything that works on organics)(Gotta remember, though, that a flashbang will work on him).

Hm... that's a tough question. Probably Risotto, since Metallica has a farther range than Killer Queen, so Kira couldn't get close enough to attack him. He'd be in trouble if Kira used Sheer Heart Attack, though.
