Mostly just seems tired from dancing too much.
Check out my fanfiction!Doesn't feel like the trope and like others have said in the last thread, it's not easily depicted without being a major spoiler (or, like the suggestion, just don't look like a Heroic RRoD).

= Spindriver =Could but the dialogue doesn't make much sense to me.
It's not clear without context as to what those words actually mean. Passing out is commonly equivalent to falling asleep, and most of the time (at least as I'm aware of) that people don't want to fall asleep is because it messes up their sleep schedule. Or because they want to stay awake and have more fun, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.
Check out my fanfiction!Just to explain that - Peggy (the character with the RROD) is suffering from another character disturbing her sleep every night, and is just completing an Operation: Jealousy designed to solve the problem. Unfortunately, the trick involved dancing, hard, non-stop for an hour. She needs to stay conscious for a few more seconds there to complete the operation and regain her chances of undisturbed sleep in future. Hence the ironic thought bubble.
But anyway, it seems that the illustration doesn't work as well for other people as it would for me, so absent a surge of enthusiasm, the trope can remain unillustrated.
= Spindriver =The pic has to work without that contextual information so it's a non-starter if it can't work as is. Leave the thread open, see what people think as they might have ideas. Personally going from the past thread it seems like a tough one so BUPKIS is probably the best answer for now.
Well, a too-simple answer would be a picture of an actual red ring of death...
= Spindriver =Ugh, no. That's worse than nothing. I only support literal/pun images when the trope is straightforward and there's no real risk of confusion... in this case, Heroic RRoD is a confusing enough trope that I don't want to risk it.

To be honest, the trope name seems wilfully obscure to me. But I'm not a video gamer.
= Spindriver =It's not a videogame trope though, just one that's very hard to sum up in a small space.
A couple of suggestions from Asuras Wrath. Asura lunging. Asura being flung back.◊
Both are fan art, so we'd have to ask the authors for permission.
Not bad, that they're mechanical limbs is a good way of showing it so 13.1 would be a good choice, not so much with 13.2.
Too much Broke Your Arm Punching Out Cthulhu for my tastes.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.If the basic problem is telling a RROD from somebody just taking a pasting in the general course of events, I don't see that those two pictures really solve it, I'm afraid.
= Spindriver =Then lets keep this mundane. Collapsed marathon runner◊ from My Ordinary Life.
Edit: And because a GIS for "Exhausted Runner Collapse" was extremely illustrative, here's a couple of RL faves. Collapsed and longing◊, and "Just a little farther".

Those actually work quite well. Because athletes don't as a rule get beaten up, one instinctively assumes that collapsed athletes have pushed themselves too far.
There may also be one or two pictures of fairly famous historical examples of something similar, if anyone wants to look.
= Spindriver =I'd vote to use that collapsed marathon runner anime picture. Does somebody have to trigger a poll somehow or something?
If it helps, here's a version resized for use:

= Spindriver =I say that's fine.

Is there a procedure for triggering a formal yes/no poll? (I'm kind of new round here.) Or would it be worth just putting that illo on the trope page and seeing if anyone objects?

= Spindriver =We don't need a crowner if we have a lot of unanimous support, but we should probably get a few more. For crowners though, here's the how-to: How Crowners Work.
That said, minor suggestion: we should probably crop tighter and lose the left part of the track that's empty.

Crown Description:
Recent discussion has identified a plausible image for the "Heroic RROD" trope. Should we use it?
Past attempts to provide a picture for Heroic RRoD died of neglect, perhaps largely because serious attempts to find illustrations of the idea didn't look specific enough. I have an alternative suggestion that is actually of a perfectly valid example of the trope Played for Laughs, and which makes what's happening perfectly clear:
(From Ménage à 3.)
