To be fair, all Ned needed to figure out the 'Cersi's kids aren't Robert's' thing was that Robert's line has no blond children while every of Robert's kids are blond.

I like his acting well enoughnote . He just happens to not look like Tywin. Though mostly because the direction didn't want him to (or whoever decides how the characters look like). Bald hair and side whiskers aren't hard to make. Way easier than the ridiculous hair styles from Essos.
Yeah, it works well enough. But it was a plot point in the book, and they changed it in the show. The show have practical concerns to deal with, so they need to take liberties on how things look, which is fair. But Video Games don't have the same limitation, which is why I find a pity the game is based on the show.

Screenies got leaked. The character designs are based off of their actors and they look WONDERFUL.
The stylization is EXACTLY how I expected it; Great color palate, but very faded or muted tones. I love it.

For me it's Asher, Rodrik, Gared, Mira, and Talia
So you have Asher = Obligatory Bad Boy, who is a perfect POV for Essos
Rodrik = The Ace who is good at everything and will probably do the most Northern Journeying
Gared = Farm Boy Protagonist and a way to follow family Patriarch while being outside the family
Mira = Seemingly harmless person with a hidden genius who provides our look into King's Landing
Talia = Wide-Eyed Idealist who will probably suffer a lot and can provide the most interaction with fellow Forresters.
You also have an ok distribution of male and female P Cs and I usually enjoy playing as younger people
