Was that Ra's Al Ghul at the very end?

I thought the leading theory for The Man Behind the Man was Court of Owls, not Ra's.

It should be, honestly. Ra's has been done to death.

I loved the bit in the preview for next week with the rocket launcher and Harvey just saying "Welcome to Gotham."

Well, Galavant just made an enemy of the wrong man.

Lets remember, he did toss Fish to her death, and this is when he himself is a cripple.

When Penguin is on his A game, he's a force to be reckoned with.

That being said, this is why Keyzer Soze killed his own family.

As for Chiklas Captain, I'm hoping he doesn't turn out to be nuts. It's too obvious, but we'll have to wait and see.

Bruce is not even fifteen and he already gets the most unsubtle case of Betty and Veronica ever. I really hope Galavan turns out to have staged Silver's first appearance, because seriously, white robe, bare feet, walking in a fountain?

The only thing that could have made her contrast with Selina more is by having her play with a puppy.

From the way this episode ended and the look on Gordon's face when the Comish mentioned Penguin, I'm betting Gordon's going to pull a Walter White and get the Taskforce killed.

Gordon is supposed to be the only good cop in Gotham. How can he be that if he's forced to do shit like that.

Also, I'm not sure how to feel about Alfred slapping Selina and saying she's a bad influence on Bruce.

Maybe he's right, and maybe her killing his friend was pointless, but I don't know.

Yeah, I didn't see that coming either. Kind of deserved, but that wasn't a slap.

I wanna know what precinct Chiklis came from. He's GCPD, but what precinct allowed him to stick around long enough to become captain? Is it just the Gotham central precinct that's corrupt? Anyone got any ideas? Also, with the mayor gone and the commissioner dead....who made the decision to appoint the new captain?

It might have been made in the time before the death of the Mayor, in-between when Essen died and this ep.

Or......Galavan arranged to bring this dude in as part of his Penguin plan.

Lest we forget, he's already technically corrupt (albeit in an Insomnia type of way, instead of something like The Shield), so it's understandable to have a sort of reverse 'Walter White' situation.

Maybe out of town? I mean there is technically a national goverment above Gotham, even if it doesn't exist most of the time.

To be sure, but he can't get plucked out of nowhere and be made captain. He'd have had to have been in the GCPD for some time and it's bugging me

Of course, if he IS a Galavan plant, it kinda answers everything, but if he's on the level (or a Knight Templar version of Gordon), I'd still like to know where he comes from within Gotham's jurisdiction.

Why does he have to be from Gotham? Can't he have been a captain somewhere else in another town and transferred to Gotham?
