All series tend to have one central bit that just sort of is. I that is the one for this series.
Medusa was always far stronger than Weekend. Even with most of her power sealed out.

Is Medusa a cyclops? The blindfold thingie makes me think that.
Wasn't she shown to have 2 eyes at some point. When fighting Ayaka or something maybe?
I do admit, Medusa was good, she was creepy, the combination of CGI and handrawn animation made her look very unnerving, but honestly, she didn't live up to the hype. Two, three episodes were spent hyping her up, and then....she loses in her first episode.(While I admit, it was against Evermillion, and the mere fact that she got up after that attack is impressive, but it still felt underwhelming. I believe Weekend might shape up to be more of a threat, as she pulled a Joker-esque plot by blowing up parts of the city, disregard for the safety of the hundred people that it could have hit, all for the sake of the plan, but we are just gonna have to wait and see. I'm hoping Medusa gets better later on.
What are you talking about? Medusa's a Gorgon, like her namesake.

Medusa is amazing. Weekend is just a good planner, she's not particularly powerful.
Read all of my fanfics!I like Weekend. She doesn't hold back. I wonder if she has the A Boy Named Sue thing going on.
Nah, the author already said that Weekend is just her title as an End Witch, a witch thought to be powerful enough to end the world one way or another. Kazane and Chronoire are Badend and Deadend respectively.
Read all of my fanfics!5xalso Don't forget add that Medusa did all that while having her real power sealed off...
As for Weekend, she will live of hype but only until is revealed that her plan worked out of Kazame Sportsmanship, as she recovered far faster than Weekend thought and could screw her plans anytime
For me, Medusa is coolest witch in this series.

Episode 10. In which stuff blows up.
Well, she's certainly taking it at a relaxed pace. But then, that's probably what she should do, if it helps her recover faster.
No magic required to perform magical feats.
Ridiulously precise timing for unrelated events. Well, par for the course.
Weekend is okay. Somewhat subdued considering the standard, which makes her stick out as a villain. And smart, which makes her stick out as a villain.
Okay, no doubt about it. Chrono is evil.
Kind of a standard episode. Not bad, not great.
Check out my fanfiction!Decided to read ahead.
So that's why Honoka's parfait got frozen when Touko fell onto it.
And Honoka still can't get Climber's Hi-I mean, Kuraishi's name right.
@Diamite: Mikage-sensei is Natsume's uncle.
Episode 10 felt a little rushed toward the middle. Well, they couldn't exactly draw this one out too long either, so yeah.

x4 So Ayaka would be Good End then?
Episode 10: I do like that Weekend is willing to blow herself up to forward her own plan and Chronoire's hair cut torture was fun. I also laughed at Kagari's headbutt.
Then Kasumi would be True End I gue-*gets shot*
I decided against saying it, but I original mentioned the tower witches as the Harem End *burned alive*
Episode 10:
- What an amazing knee to the face.
- Weekend sure is cunning. And gutsy.
- Chronoire Slept Through the Apocalypse. And she planned on giving Gibraltar the Mad Max hairstyle. Or is it Fist Of The North Star?
- Kazane's taking it easy.
Lesson for the day: Witches should never underestimate a chance of physical action. It'll get them killed.
The episode felt a bit too fast at times. They could have drawn some real tension from walking along the precipice.
The background art and costumes are beautiful, but the faces are lacking, both in distinctions and expressions. The voice actors have to carry a lot to make the characters come alive. If there's one thing the studios can learn from Trigger, it's that expressive storyboarding is better than rigid models.
Partly because of that, the villains haven't left me with much of an impression, though Weekend has shown herself to be a special brand of cunning and ruthless. But really, lock up a witch without even looking under her cloak?
A blog that gets updated on a geological timescale.Well, most witches wouldn't use non-magical means of attack. :/
Episode 11 was brilliant. Weekend remains a good villain as Ayaka struggles in her fight against her. I did like the animation of the fight. Takamiya seeing the Chairman's memories was good and Medusa's human form was cool. We also get another bear fight and the puppet witch whose name I forget was also cool
Episode 11. Which is a trippy episode.
That place with the lonely bus stop reminded me of a Touhou fanart series called "The Yakumos at the End of the World". And that little cube reminds me of the item world in Disgaea. Or Minecraft.
Melted candle wax on your arm isn't really that bad. Especially on the upside of the arm.
Medusa is cool. I kinda prefer her other appearance, though.
So, is the girl who's standing stoned on her head (well, shoulders) the one Kazumi fought? She looks kinda similar. 'Cause that's some impressive movement while petrified.
There's something about leaving a sword like that in the umbrella stand that's just... appropriate.
The CG city ruins look kinda neat. And the action sequences.
If she really intended to cut her, why stop and listen?
"Are you sure you're doing it right?" I was about to ask the same myself...
The little crown she has is silly.

Check out my fanfiction!Episode 11:
- Honoka went on a little stroll through Kazane's memory lane.
- I love the trippy dimensions.
- Cool, another wrestling match of the ages.
- Hm, didn't think Medusa had a human form.
- Nice umbrella, Atori.
- That was a nice rumble in the church. Weekend continues to be impressive.
Episode 12. In which everyone dies.
That's a funny way to get a translation.
That attack kind of reminds me of Sephiroth's Super Nova. Which means it can't actually kill anyone, just bring them down to low health.
Llama.
Ayaka reacts pretty much like I expected. Not at all concerned he sacrificed her
They're really using that CG model of the church as much as they can.
Such a sweet friendship. It's a shame Kazumi didn't approve.
Sometimes I've wondered if Chrono's a mastermind, or just very good at seizing the opportunity. It's increasingly clear she's both.
"Especially the llama!"
Yeah, no cop-outs allowed. Not too fond of the animation there, though.
Tumbleprinny.
That's a very awsome fight. And very short.
He wished for a routine, daily life. Well, those witches are part of the routine. And those witches getting beat up is also part of the routine.
Check out my fanfiction!Chronoire's minor shape-shifting was pretty cool.
This might be seen as the Growing the Beard episode later on. I'm certainly glad to finally have a villain that's actually threatening(Chronoire is excepted for being a Friendly Enemy). But seriously, does no one decide to be more cautious when going to the enemy? Really? Also, it might be just me, but does anyone else think that the "Honoko-faints-Ayaka does awesome stuff-Honoka wakes up with Ayaka" thing is getting a bit old?
