So it dawned on me recently that Infinity, Inc. was essentially the Teen Titans of Earth-2.
Funny how it took me that long to realize it (though I think the Infinity Inc members were older then the Titans when they started, even if they were supposed to be junior members).
One Strip! One Strip! The members of Infinity Inc. were meant to be in their very early 20's (college age, but out of their teens). They weren't technically affiliated with the JSA, so I don't think they really counted as "junior members" of anything (the "inc." wasn't just a bit of clever naming, either, they were actually supposed to be incoporated and run, by Sylvester "The Star-Spangled Kid" Pemberton, as a business). Actually, they were really young to be the kids of the JSA. Nuklon (mentored by Al "The Atom" Pratt) was supposed to be the grandson of a golden age villain (contact with whom was responsible for the Atom developing super-strength), so his age worked, but the rest would have been born in the 60's, which would have put their parents all in their 40's. Obviously not impossible, just a mite odd, especially for that era.
Batman Annual: Paul Dini and Neal Adams in the same comicbook? I'm excited.
Ordinarily, nothing would make Daphne happier than meeting the star of her favorite TV action show, Zorna the Warrior Woman.
Boy, I know the Scooby franchise usually latches too late on once relevant subjects, but this is just silly.
Collecting Jones’ artwork from DEADMAN: LOVE AFTER DEATH #1-2 and DEADMAN: EXORCISM #1-2
They should have added the Batman 530-532 teamup while they were at it.

The next Detective Comics arc is sounding like it'll have a hefty dose of internal conflict with the team, which is great. That was something I initially wanted to see in the first arc, but as the series has gone on I've realized how forced that would've felt at the very beginning. It's also sounding like a sort of Breather Episode after both "Rise of the Batmen" the Monster Men crossover, which is also a good sign. Can't have every single arc be huge.
The crossover is also looking like it'll have some lasting effects in Nightwing's life as well, which is yet another good sign.
I'm still really pleased with what I'm seeing from DC these days.
My stories on AO3.Having a crossover barely three months into rebirth is annoying
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."Why? It''s short and doesn't take up the entire universe, at least. Plus it sounds really fun.
My stories on AO3.Thing is i only buy nightwing and its taking away two issues of a comic i love. Same thinghappened with grayson and that piss poor robin war nonsense.
Basically the story may be fun but its still a crossover way too soon and its gonna disrupt the one series i do buy
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."I kinda feel the same but for different reasons. Nightwing is the only book in that crossover I don't read so to get the full story I have to go out of my way to purchase the issues that continue the story.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureI would have been on board with it, but I dropped Nightwing cold after issue three (out of protest for the on/off Dick/Babs melodrama) , so I don't know if I'll pick it up either, though I haven't stopped collecting Wonder Woman despite a gap in "The Lies"
I don't know how many of you visited Comic Book Resources, but oh dear, they just really ****ed that site up.

Place was a cesspit anyway.
I think I figured out a way to get through the Source Wall
- Step 1: Get a probe, and a portal
- Step 2: Place one side portal somewhere else on the Source Wall, the other side of the portal on the probe. The portal has to be wider than the probe
- Step 3: Move the probe into the Source Wall. It will not make contact, but rather the portal will which will just transport Source Wall material on the other side of the portal
- Step 4: Keep going until you find what's on the other side
BTW, I have to wonder why the Source Wall isn't seen across the board due to covering the entire DC Universe. I guess in DC the actual universe is bigger than its observable universe, but still there's gotta be a lot of aliens going "WTF why is there a massive wall over there?"
In Morrison's map of the multiverse there are in fact three cosmic walls. The Bleedwall, separating the various alternate universes from each other; the Speed Force Wall, separating the divine and mortal realms; and the Source Wall, separating the lot of it from the Primordial Chaos.
It should also be mentioned that the Primal Monitor is not the supreme creator of the DC Multiverse; it was actually "shocked" by its discovery of the DC Multiverse that was on it, so it wasn't actually aware of "the flaw within itself". This also means that an even higher entity created the Multiverse, or drew it, on the Primal Monitor against its will.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!The "higher entity" is, of course, implied to be the writers and artists. (Morrison mentions that the universe started as a blank white canvas, like a blank page. He's Grant Morrison — he loves to break the fourth wall.)
Which is weird, since the Universe Q that All-Star Superman created is supposed to be our universe.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Wasn't that supposed to be Earth Prime? Or do they both count?
Huh. Superman created our universe. Who'd 'a thunk it.
You know, I've heard a lot of flak about the Black Canary and Green Arrow marriage so I'd like to know: what are the biggest problems with it?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position. It was written by Judd Winick. That should really say it all.
More details.
Why he so bad?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Winick's run on Green Arrow was pretty awful — he basically turned Black Canary into a supporting character that did nothing whatsoever. When Ollie went up against Deathstroke, Deathstroke in fact trapped Black Canary and Ollie had to beg him not to kill her. It reversed tons of character development from Gail Simone's Birds of Prey run just so Black Canary could be made a damsel in distress. (And that's not even pointing out that he once left the female Doctor Light unconscious and never followed up on her, not even to see if she was still alive.) (He also gave Mia AIDS, which could have been an interesting storyline had it not been done in the most anvilicious way possible.)
And then there was the Green Arrow/Black Canary Wedding Special. The only good part is that it was drawn by Amanda Conner — the bad part was pretty much everything else, like the fact that it wasn't actually Green Arrow, but a shapeshifter, and Black Canary is forced to kill him on their wedding night, thus tricking every single reader into reading something that is definitely not the Green Arrow/Black Canary wedding.

they just became really boring and unfun to read when they got married. just like every couple on tv.
I'm re-reading the Robin Rises arc from Batman and Robin (I finally got the collected edition!) and I think Pat Gleason might be the only artist to ever ever make Cyborg actually look cool. They should get him to do the (inevitable) next redesign.
You're just in time. Bayble Cuber's going to watch an inkle dribble adventure from days of old on my holo-pyramid viewer.
