If we were able to pull on the basis of the same or similar thing, I'd have wanted either Living Weapon or Evil Weapon's pic pulled for being very close.
Are we able to do that? Anyway, I'm looking at A Minor Kidroduction and Age Cut and wondering what exactly is the difference between these tropes.

The tropes are fairly closely related. And "duplicate image" means exactly that: duplicate, not "strongly resembling".
So I'll have to say Keep Until Better Image Suggested for both.
Also, A Minor Kidroduction IP thread
^:
- Age Cut: A type of Match Cut that shows a character aging.
- A Minor Kidroduction: A work begins by showing us the main character as a child.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI think somebody arbitrarily changed the caption for A Minor Kidroduction... Don't think the new one works as well as the old one did.
Moon◊The old one was pretty much telling you what you could already see, it added nothing. The new(er) caption is much better and happens to be work-relevant too.

Looking at the history, I suppose. Doesn't help that somebody else knocked out the "you gotta deal with it" part of the old caption, with the only edit reason being "Meme.". New one's better just for reintroducing that, I think.
Moon◊Yep but it's not that image nor the tagline that's at issue so we'd better pull it back on track.
@2: Any image can always be replaced by something better.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I like the 2-panel version, for conciseness if nothing else.
It's probably too grainy to use, but I got some caps from an animated GIF of Simba's aging in 'Hakuna Matata'. If anyone has the Blu Ray version and can get some clean caps from this sequence, that'd be great.
EDIT: Actually, I may have found something that will work, give me a bit to put it together.

Okay, here we go.
Way too much artifacting. HD rip to the rescue!
EDIT: Trying again with a tighter vertical crop. This allows for more width and uses less height. By the way, is it just me, or does teenage Simba look really weird?

And he's looking weird. I think it's the hair.
Oh really when?Awkward teenager. But yes, 14.2 is the best out of those.
Check out my fanfiction!14.2 is the best and god yes Simba was one heck of a gawky teen.
Well, they never had to depict him as one outside of that one montage, so they didn't have to care about what it looked like... (note: I only ever saw the original film and that was when I was REALLY young)

Yeah, well... midquel is all I'll say.
14.2 is the best option. (The animators must have had fun making teenage!Simba.)
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.14.2 FTW
14.2 works perfectly.
Reaction Image Repository14.2 seems OK for me, and up, potholed and tagged it is.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThanks for putting up the pic and tag, Septimus. Caption or no?
Age Cut and A Minor Kidroduction don't have the same exact images, but they are both from the same scene and depicting the same thing. That said, this is better on A Minor Kidroduction, since Korra is shown as a kid for not even 5 seconds in the introduction to the show, and it should be very easy to find a replacement for Age Cut.
