Suggestion: Target Spotter

I took strip #90 of Turn Signals on a Land Raider and rearranged the panels vertically. Thoughts?

EDIT: Caption idea: Something along the lines of, "Protip: Be sure of target's identity before firing."

Ughh... yeadh... I have to agree that OP suggestion is not very good. Wayyy too tall, and too much text. From Larkman's suggestions, I like the dog and number 4.

I like either 2 or 4 for a straight example...lean toward 2 because it shows a more realistic scenario. 3, paired with a good Lassie-type parody caption, would be hilarious.

Looks good.

Personally, I'd put the translation in a hotti- er... note. Also, I'd make it so the dog is talking about a squirrel... but that might just be me.

I was riffing on the old gag of people interpreting Lassie's barking as entire blocks of exposition...not sure if combining those two things would work right.

I can't tell a difference between the last two versions.

I tried my hand at it earlier today, but the end result was ass.

I dunno, I think some colors got crushed somehow. That's pretty much as good as it's gonna get, unfortunately.

Reverse GIS isn't turning anything up.

The pic was overexposed to begin with, not much fixing that. (I tried doing a typical gamma/levels adjustment first but it didn't come out looking right, so I used a huesat adjust and it came out better.)

On mine, the grass is a tint greener and the guy's forehead doesn't look so washed out.

We've never really decided on a pic...should we crowner this or just go with the dog for wit's sake, regardless of caption?

Hmm.. I was going make a suggestion from Highschool Of The Dead of a spotter and his sniper clearing out zombies from an airport runway, but this wouldn't work out too well with the horizontal limitations of pictures on this site.
