Exactly What It Says on the Tin
Feel free post your idea for game you wish someone would start or, if you're a GM type person, peruse this thread to see if there's anything that looks interesting that at least one other person has interest in too.
...Is it too late to say I'm interested in a Changeling The Lost game? >__>
Nah, it's not too late yet. I'll try to start the RP this weekend.
I've been feeling antsy for another Superhero roleplay. So far, all the ones I've been a part of have fallen through, and I'd really like to see another one show up at some point.
Whoops, ignore this.

Huh, I've been pondering trying to run something using Mutants And Masterminds, but I have no idea what do for plot and how good will it roll in forum format.
Dang, you looked maximum mysterious before revealing it was just a mis-post

I'm not a fan of bringing legitimate Tabletop RP Gs into forum roleplay, because that kind of ends up messy.
I'd make a roleplay myself, but I've never had a great track-record as a GM.
What exact "messy" are you talking about?
I mean. Okay it's 2:30 in the morning so i might not've used the right word there
i mean people can do whatever they want i'm not trying to say that there's a specific way to structure a roleplay i'm just not a fan of using Tabletop formulas on a play-by-post thing.
...Yeah, 2:30 seems to be getting to you.
I just want to know what problems you have seen in using the systems on forum RPs so I could avoid them should I end up trying to run it.

Like, a lot of it has to do with unpredictability. You roll dice, you come up with things to do on the fly. Gotta stay on your toes. But you don't stay on your toes in a forum, because you're given the opportunity to wait, and to think about what to do. Not to mention that probability is out the window, since die rolls for every action are really annoying to do.
I'm not an expert and honestly I'm talking out of my ass here, because I've never really been in a roleplay like that. Well, I was once, and it didn't sit well with me.
Alright, I see. I'll add the input to things for considering
Well Truth Hurts 22. I got a superhero setting... would you like to play in that?
You know, the "regular people turn into fictional characters" plot has been done a million times, but I have an odd craving for it.
please call me "XionKuriyama" or some variation, thanks! | What is the good deed that you can do right now?I sort of had that RPG a while back...
It started off as "regular people/self inserts gain powers from fictional characters", but implications regarding the method of how they get the powers slowly became more of what you mean with them turning into the characters, or just being possessed.
If you don't feel like starting your own, one is already in progress. I know because I am in it.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."So I watched Summer Wars and I got a craving for some Deadly VR game RP.
Or I got a mecha setting and I wish to RP that if anyone is interested.
I'm still interested in the mecha idea. I'm just really poor at worldbuilding in hard Sci fi.
Soooo I'm kind of in the mood for a magical girl RP. Weird Exalted+Shadowrun+Madoka cross? I'd be game. Light-ish Nanoha shenanigans? Cool. A straight light hearted RP about overaged Magical girls trying to get on with their lives? Sounds great.I'm really not picky...and may need a fix.
I'd do it...but I've never been part of a role play or a campaign that lasted more then three sessions.
EDIT: Actually, a straight bloodborne rp would be cool as well. Seriously, there's got to be some fun we could have while Yharnam Burns.

If you're looking for a Magical Girl RP, there's the Guild of Friendship. Might be what you're looking for?
Icon by Civvi the Civilian! Not quite what I was hoping for, but you don't look a gift horse in the mouth and all that.
Give me a day or two and I'll have an app worth a something.

Just passing through to drop a dumb idea.
Super Generation
In the year 2020, an eminent scientist released a gas cloud that spread across North America, inhaled by the population before dissipating. At first, the air just smelled funny before the harmless gas went away, and life went on.
And then weird stuff appeared in the news. As the years passed, it became that at any point during puberty, teenagers and children born from the adults who breathed in the gas were a little more than human now. They were faster, stronger, and more durable than anyone that came before them (around MCU Captain America level) at the very least, and they were all manifesting intensely unique powers that could defy comprehension. As for the scientist, they simply disappeared, leaving behind a world where gods were being born among men.
The year is 2030, and the world continues to change with the emergence of the Super Generation.
And that's basically it. The plot can go wherever it likes with the implications of the pubescent developing superpowers in near-future North America. Every Cloudborn character is at least physically in the same power class as MCU's Captain America, and they can increase their physical power with training as we do (of course, at greater extents than normal folk). And each such character has a specific power that belongs uniquely to them like their fingerprints (characters with similar Specialties will have different ways/limits/capabilities concerning their Specialty that manage to set them apart).

Allurand and surrounding world loading, 28%...Cool. Probably not going to join it, but it sounds like it'd be interesting.
That sounds like it would be interesting.
off the shitsYou play the role of original characters that have by some means each been telepathically bonded to a Toho kaiju (mechs included) that are once again threatening the world. They can influence the monster's actions, commanding them to destroy cities, defend cities from other monsters, etc. Depending on the origin of their affiliated monster, the characters might be human, either civilian or EDF, or even of an alien race that has appeared in the Godzilla films. Powers-granting human mutations and advanced personal technology - such as that seen in Final Wars - could be present, but the monsters are the focus.
Flesh is a design flaw.
So, when I make my Vampire The Requiem RP (Some of the other gamelines in the New World Of Darkness will be included as well), should I set it in The '80s or the present day?
