7.2 or 7.3 for me as well (I lean toward 7.2; 7.3 looks hideous to me). El Goonish Shive picture doesn't show the trope as prominently; it's inside some other dialogue and stuff. I do think it looks better and prefer it to the Rolling Stones cover, that much I'll give it.

"Duran Duran" isn't actually all that repetitive. Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo is. I also think it looks more interesting than five guys just standing there.

I don't see how more is better, as long as it's not more obvious. Which it isn't. And all those "interesting" parts do more to distract than help.

I have to agree; that pic's way too busy.
In the Duran Duran images it's possible to deduse that it's the name of the group.
In 16 it's clearly the name of the manga, but I can't tell if the manga is named after a character/a group of character, or if it's a Mac Guffin or whatever.
