I'd like something bigger (as in, zoomed in), but that works.
Actually, I think it's kinda confusing, and requires you to notice a lot of small things that you probably wouldn't be focusing on (that Kirby is marked as having "Fire" despite being Normal, or even realizing that he's supposed to have a cute hat when he's Fire Kirby, for instance). I prefer the OP's suggestion to that.
But if you want an alternative, maybe the Bandits from Yoshi's Island stealing Baby Mario? I can't find any such images on GIS (surprisingly), other than this
