Which is of course, BS. Several live actors who have tried voice acting have actually found it harder.
Fact: Voice-acting is HARDER than on-screen acting in most cases because no one can see you act. You must put everything you usually use for the screen into your voice, which means MORE gestures in the booth, without any actor to play off of, and no set.
Basically, in that little booth, you are the set, and you are the other actors.
I assumed that with conversations the two actors in the conversation just talked back and forth to each other.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.That's more common now, it's true. Though a lot of the time I think it is still someone outside the booth who just reads off the script.
It's all relative. In terms of physical and emotional strain live action performances are far more difficult, between long hours, keeping up your appearance and larger number of distractions. Voice acting is simply a different form of acting. I once met Bill Fagerbakke and he said he preferred voice acting because of the comparative lack of vanity involved, you're able to focus almost entirely on the performance.
When it comes to Oscar nominations, it's been a long issue that people want more and more representation like best vocal performance, stunt choreography, etc. But the Academy feels their list of awards is already quite long, and they point towards the more specialized ceremonies as where those things are recognized.
For me, Zootopia had a surprisingly deep and mature story but when it comes to everything else felt just... okay. They had an opportunity to make some really cool imagery between all the different animals but it ended up being just different scales of common urban dwellings, such as the chase through the rodent suburb. While the animation was fine, the imagery didn't quite pop. In comparison, Moana and Kubo had some really outstanding visuals.

Really? I'm surprised because they absolutely nailed the imagery for me. All the animal-themed buildings, vehicles, technology, services, everything cleverly adapted to fit an all animal society. It is soooooooooo much more than just different scales. The sheer creativity that went into designing this world still blows my mind.
So something was recently added to both Implied Love Interest and The Not-Love Interest stating that Judy and Nick's romantic potential or lack thereof will be addressed in any hypothetical sequel. Anybody have a source for that?

The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."A quick Google search found this, which seems to imply that what to do with Nick and Judy's relationship is a major debate behind the scenes. He does say that either way they would absolutely have to address it, so I think the examples stand.
If they want to keep exploring the bigotry theme, I actually do think inter-species relationships would be a good angle to pursue in a sequel.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Maybe. At the same time, though, they wouldn't want to repeat what they did in the first movie by doing yet another "racism is wrong" angle.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Hey guys have I mentioned◊ how much I like the Animated Actors trope? As well as this artist?

Shoo her in, Effie darling, shoo her in.I don't always care about awards shows or who wins them, but this makes me very happy. Zootopia was absolutely phenomenal and I'm glad the Academy recognized that.
"That's a to-go order. See! It's already gone!!"Whoooooooooooo!
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Alright! I knew they'd make the right call there.
Well-deserved.
Ugh?
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.
