Lateral movement for me.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe Dr McNinja suggestion isn't this trope at all. It's worse than the current, which is at least an illustration of the trope in use.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.As much as I love Dr. McNinja, "learn[ing] some ninja tricks" isn't really the trope.

Moon◊The trope is that something weird (eating a donut through a mask) is explained as "a ninja did it". I think that makes a better page picture than two talking heads and a page quote; the visuals in the current picture add nothing.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!I agree with pulling the current for Spark's reasons; not where I can look at the suggestion right now.
Keep, current isn't JAFAAC and the suggestion doesn't show the trope.

My issue with the suggestion is that it's the alt-text that makes it VERY clear how appropriate this is for the trope. As-is, I'm pretty much indifferent. We could maybe caption it with the alt-text ("From now on, all questions will be answered with 'they learned ninja tricks'") and I'd be down with it.
Surely we can find a webcomic or picture of Metal Gear Solid where Nanomachines are being used as all-purpose plot glue.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. The last two panels of the suggestion don't make sense and it needs text as much as anything.
The suggested image does at least show something inexplicable happening, so I guess it's an improvement. It's not great, though.
I actually didn't get the panels at all. Prefer current.
I don't get it either.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.I have to assume that it's how the ninja was able to get the bagel in his mouth without removing his mask...it's certainly more demonstrative than the current, but if people are already having problems with it, it's probably not gonna fly.
Better than current. Still not great.
Current is better. Keep Image Until Better Image Suggested As Image. Image.
I must be cruel, but to be kind That bad may begin, and worse be left behindCurrent is fine. He's illustrating that the explanation for the matter is that there simply is no explanation. And it's not text-heavy enough to be a 'glorified quote'.

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.The current works perfectly for me. The suggestion is confusing.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.I've got two suggestions:
1) Add the last panel of the current image's source comic to the image: http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2009/11/2/
2) Use the 9th panel of this comic: http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0566.html
Both of these should help emphasize that the trope is about handwaving something by invoking some unknowable cosmic power.
Adding the final panel of the strip the current image is from makes it orders of magnitude better.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I have the image ready to resize, what should the width be?
No more than 350 pixels wide.
Usually it's best to have it at 350 px wide if the image is wider than it's tall, and less wide if it's taller. Other than that, use your own judgement, as it depends a lot on how it looks after the resize. Some images work well if they're relatively small, others don't work at all like that. Personally I think the overall best is 350/250 on either side.
That works.

Check out my fanfiction!How's this?
Fine by me!
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.
The current image on A Wizard Did It is just two talking heads that state something similar to the page quote (albeit less funny). That's JAFAAC and should be pulled.
This comic, last two panels, may be a better illustration.
