…oh that's that shitty film my parents were watching on-demand. From what it looks like, the novel is better by virtue of making you actually think thanks to unreliable narration, instead of the film just taking cliches and societal myths to extremes.

I dunno. I thought it was decent. The whole "woman lies about being raped to get a guy in trouble" thing was horrible and dumb, but the rest of it was... maybe not enjoyable, but interesting to watch.
