Reconstruction, ho!
- Name: Gaius Cornelius Tacitus.
- Gender: Male.
- Age: 36.
- Appearance: To Lord and Land!
- Personality: Tacitus is a stern, quiet person. He prefers action to words, but will not act until he is satisfied of his actions' consequences. He isn't a hesitant person, but sometimes his patience and thoroughness causes people to mistake him for one.
He is hard to befriend, but stout and loyal once befriended; he also deeply cares about his Pokémon, being a stern but fair and loving master. While he demands a lot from his Pokémon and friends, he gives a lot in return. - History: From birth, Gaius Conrelius was destined to become a soldier; his father was a veteran commander in the Britannian army and he trained him from a young age. He joined the kingdom's army at the age of 16, and rose steadily through the ranks until he became a captain of the cavalry. After the neighbouring kingdom of Ivenco suffered an uprising and asked for help, he and his company were sent to put it down; they stayed there for six long years. There he took the position of, for lack of a better word, general administrator and troubleshooter for a small region, writing the history of the Britannian kingdom in his spare time.
When the Britannian king was murdered, however, he left his second-in-command Gnaeus Julius Argicola in charge and returned to the kingdom. He found the kingdom in chaos, with each of the princes and princesses controlling a portion of the army and vying for the throne. Disgusted, he left the kingdom in search of a power that could help him find a worthy claimant for the throne and bring an end to the chaos; now he seeks Jirachi, for it is rumoured that this Pokémon, anathema to the Dark-type-using Britannians, might be able to grant him insight enough to do so. - Skills: Talented warrior, rider, commander and administrator. Well-versed in Britannian etiquette. Well-versed in Dark-type magic pertaining to combat and administration.
- Pokémon:
- Pokémon's Name: Divum.
- Pokémon's Species: Umbreon.
- Pokémon's Ablity: Synchronise.
- Pokémon's Oft-Used Moves:
- Faint Attack
- Confuse Ray
- Shadow Ball
- Protect
- Pokémon's Biography: Divum is the daughter of Tacitus's father's Espeon and his mother's Eevee. Form birth she was supposed to be Tacitus's partner, and she spent all of her life with him. She is his first and most treasured partner.
- Pokémon:
- Pokémon's Name: Fidelis.
- Pokémon's Species: Absol.
- Pokémon's Ablity: Super Luck.
- Pokémon's Oft-Used Moves:
- Razor Wind
- Night Slash
- Quick Attack
- Double Team
- Pokémon's Biography: Tacitus found Fidelis wounded in a field. Taking pity on the Pokémon, he took her to his abode and took care of her wounds. That way, he won her loyalty. She became Divum's best friend, and the two are quite inseparable. She is Tacitus' second partner.
(He also has a Ponyta mount, but he left him back home.)
- Leitmotif: To Lord and Land!

The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundIs it okay to use a non-base form for a pokemon who has been with the character since his early childhood? (Since he was 5 years old).
I'm thinking about Weavile/Mamoswine.
Also: Will they evolve mid RP or will they always stay in base form?

Character's good Des.
I've edited the rule, should be a bit fairer now.
And of course your pokémon can evolve during the RP, similarly in case there's any doubt about it you can catch more too.
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.Name:Glace Dupont. (pronounced Doo-po)
Gender:Male.
Appearance:[1] Imagine this but without the gun and with this armor.◊
Age:22
Biography: Glace was born to a family of thieves from Yasui. His father and mother were caught and sent to a prison once he was barely 5; he escaped from those who jailed them. Presumably they died, but Glace has never seen them so he has no knowledge of their fate. After that Glace's life was the life of a beggar orphan: Poor, looking for food in trash cans, no home, no parents, no proper clothing, stealing from whoever seems to have money. Until a miracle happened, he tried to steal from an old noble named Sauveur, the noble's guards noticed, and held him, but Sauveur was not mad. Instead he adopted him, seeing potential in the kid. And so he was taught everything he needed to know how to be a Legend Hunter: How to use magic ice magic, how to fight, and how to train Pokémon. Sauveur was an old man. War has left him without long lived daughters or sons and wanted something to be proud of. So he trained him to be a Legend Hunter. He finished the tutoring and started to search adventure 5 months ago.
Personality: Very few people cared for him for a big part of his life, so Glace cares about few things: His Pokémon; and the few people who have/will actually care about him, he can be caring, but he isn't the one to start a friendship at most times. He is usually aloof and untouched by most of the world, only seemingly focusing on very specific goals. However, he gets rather angry if you actually harm his Pokémon or a person he cares about. He usually springs at any opportunity he has without thought. When you have the opportunity, go for it. It's better to lose it to someone else then to miss it entirely by hesitating is what he was used to most of his life as an orphan. He tends to be excited a little bit about battles. It is one of the few things that he really likes doing. He also tends to snark to people he doesn't like, usually when they are showing their dumber and witless side.
Skills: Cooking. (He asked the servants to teach him.) Fighting (he mostly fights with his fists), Ice magic that usually is either related to slowing down the opponent or attacking it.
Pokemon Name:Fen.
Pokemon Species:Swinub
Pokemon Ability:Thick Fat.
Pokemon Moves:
- Earthquake
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard
- Superpower
Pokemon Biography: Fen was the pokemon that Sauveur gave to Glace for his journey. Glace is unfamiliar with him. But he still takes good care of him, as he is a gift from the old man. But on the opposite, Swinub doesn't really know Glace well, and so sometimes doesn't really act friendly with him.
Pokemon Name:Frost.
Pokemon Species:Weavile.
Pokemon ability: Pressure
Pokemon Moves:
- Swords Dance
- Ice Punch
- Night Slash
- Low Kick
Pokemon Biography:Frost was the descendant of Glace's parent's Weavile, she came out of the egg when Glace was 4. He has lived with her all his life. And her loyalty to him (And vice-versa) is unmatched. She hasn't actually been "caught" yet. And so will not be in the pocket dimension.

Your character's accepted mate but one thing I need to note - the pokémon do not need stick to the four-move limit, I find it to be a needless and arbitrary restriction when used in an RP. So go nuts.
Also, a complete listing of all Kingdom names, as I seem to have not put them up yet.
Aquas - Water
Feurach - Grass
Baningu - Fire
Ransei - Dragon *
Yasui - Ice
Avios - Flying
Kanonikos - Normal
Britannia - Dark
Hellseher - Psychic
Ivenco - Steel
Sorren - Ground
Hirashu - Poison
Aes - Bug
Korro - Rock
Korosu - Electric
Oppugnare - Fighting
Parsone - Ghost

Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.Damn..
Well I used the French word for Ice for him even though he comes from a kingdom that doesn't sound French.
My apologies. :P
Might aswell stick to the French naming in his last name aswell.
I still suggest some kind of move limit. A lot loosened but still some kind.
Unless we can use every single move of the pool they have whenever we want?

Edited Tacitus' bio a bit.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundIt's not like every family and kingdom is purely single-attribute. It's easy enough to say there's subcultures. And as for the moves... I'm still probably not going to restrict them. It's perfectly fine to me should all mons be able to use all moves, although one can do as Dizzle has and still have a preferred set.
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.Okay then. Thanks.
Perhaps they should know every natural (level up, breed, etc) so that TM and unique moves are still rarer and more valuable?
If you guys'd prefer it I could keep some limitations on if you want (likely in line with N's suggestion, any more opinions?
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.I have a question then: What happens once one of them evolves? Do they learn whatever moves the evolution has that they can't learn and unlearn whatever their previous form had in the process of evolution or would they learn them through training?
It would probably be the best idea if you gavr the mons a sort of transitional period, they need to take the time to learn their new moves.
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.Okay. Overall I think the idea is great. This will stay as a "prefered list" by the character, meant to emphasize how he is rash in battle and that both of them are physical attackers, yet he still somewhat thinks of strategy, but mildly.
I'm so sorry, guys... but I think you're getting a rich prat with parental issues, dragon type pokemon, and aspirations of rulership to put up with.
It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.I'm gonna be a knight, just so you all know. I'm sure it was a big mystery.

Discussion Thread
Our adventure takes place in the land of Senjo. Senjo has had some turbulent times in it's past - from the wars between Feurach and Baningu to the battles in Ransei before it was united under Nobunaga. But now, Senjo enjoys a time of relative peace. Former warriors and enthusiastic young adventurers alike now find themselves employed by the various crowns to search uncharted lands and waters, for the legends that are spoken of in grand tales. Such adventurers, known as Legend Hunters often find great treasures on their travels... and equally great dangers.
So, here I am. I'm making a new RP, after being egged on a little by Nman. This RP is set in a region I made up called Senjo, which is made up of seventeen different smaller kingdoms, no prizes for guessing what is the major defining feature of each kingdom.
The timeframe for the RP is late Rennaissance Europe/Feudal Japan, with the latter taking dominance culturally (although the former does appear in many kingdoms). As a fantasy RP, humans have access to both magic and more mundane forms of fighting, and can usually hold their own against common pokémon. Magic in this world follows one of fifteen types Steel and Dragon magics are not known to exist. Magic also handily takes place of pokéballs, simple spells picked up by almost all adventurers due in part to their simplicity exist that can both capture and contain pokémon in a Pocket Dimension (up to six, funny enough). Human supernaturals exist, werewolves and vampires etc. Ask (privately) if interested.
So, where do your P Cs fit into this I hear you ask? Well, in that blurb up there I mentioned Legend Hunters? That's who you get to be, a new team of Legend Hunters, searching uncharted lands for Legendary Pokémon. Your first assignment is south of Feurach, the Grass kingdom which borders on Baningu, the Fire kingdom on it's west and Aquas, the Water kingdom to the north and east.
One last thing, Legendary Pokémon are two things here - in very high regard to the point that people who are believed to have seen them and lived are seen as heroes on that basis alone, and should you ever meet one, they are in a whole other league power-wise, able to beat even ordinary pokémon they have a type disadvantage to in seconds if they're not backed up with a whole team. They will also never be captured, unless they are impressed enough by the human that they will allow it.
Rules and associated statures
So, if anyone's interested, I have a little signup form for you to fill out. I know, the paperwork sucks but there you go.
Happy hunting everybody.
