Just a Face and a Caption: White Mage

As pointed out in the Black Mage Image Pickin', they're White Mages from Final Fantasy, but they're... not really doing any healing. I feel like Mint◊ from Tales Of Phantasia would be great. She's clearly a caster, and not only is she in white, she's also dressed like a nurse, while sells the "she heals" quite clearly.

She looks like a healer, but just like the current, it would be nice to see her doing some magic.

Dunno. The cross gives me other implications, so I don't think it's an improvement.

This◊ actually shows the casting on someone, but isn't really clear. Also would be better if it wasn't in Japanese.

The cross on the hat sells it for me better since, you know, that's what nurse's hats look like (albeit with a red cross, but I think that's trademarked now).

Second two don't even look like healers. First is good.

Refia from Final Fantasy III dressed as a White Mage and using healing magic [1]◊.

She's doing some magic, they're both looking at his arm, and his's wearing a sling.

Maybe brighten the picture a bit to make it clearer, then I'll vote .

Colour doesn't really matter anyway.

The non-brightened pic in post 9 sets the tone of the picture better, and is more apparent that the magic's glowing blue.

You can also see better that the glowing blue magic effect's making the robe look blueish on where it's going (and you can that the dress's white via looking at the spot where the glow isn't shining on {ie, the hoodie} ).

I can understand, though that the fact that it's shining in a bluish colour may at first glance, make her robe look blue.

Even in the brightened pic, her hoodie looks white, so one can deduce that that's actually white robes she's wearing in that picture.

The character doesn't have to be a literal mage in white robes. It just matters that they're a mage specializing in being The Medic.

I like 9 the best so far, followed by 7.1
