Some people miss the point of a meme or have incorrect notions towards aspects of a meme, i.e. some people might think "wow jeez you'd have to be pretty socially awkward to have an imagination like that", or think that social awkwardness is just something that they consider abnormal. I can't say for sure, but it looks like someone's just gone out and said that they consider imagining an embarrassing, cheesy thought like that as social awkwardness - without having a proper grip on what it really is, or how it affects people.

LOL AWKWARD I'M SO RANDOM
is what most people who AREN'T socially awkward think being socially awkward is.
EDIT: I should clarify—by "people" I mean "teenagers."

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. And by "teenagers" I mean "idiots".
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I am socially awkward, first of all, and second of all, why are you all ganging up on me? I never insulted socially awkward people, I'm just asking a damn question.
"Somehow the hated have to walk a tightrope, while those who hate do not."How are you reading that as ganging up on you? They just explained what you were asking.
People are mirrors. If you smile, a smile will be reflected. They're not insulting you. They're trying to address why a person might make that meme.
‽‽‽‽ ^These are interrobangs. Love them. Learn them. Use them.Oh. Okay.
"Somehow the hated have to walk a tightrope, while those who hate do not."You're on TV Tropes, man. Everything and everyone is socially awkward here.
Mache dich, mein Herze, rein...Except me.
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'Especially you.
Mache dich, mein Herze, rein...No, I'm socially awesome. That's different.
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'Is that only when you're drunk?
A different shape every step I take A different mind every step of the lineNo, but booze does make it even more obvious.
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'That's what everyone thinks, isn't it.
Anyway, on topic, I can kind of sort of see how that's a bit awkward.
A different shape every step I take A different mind every step of the lineIt's... Sort of socially akward.
Imagining a good scenario with friends is something a lot of socially akward people would do, because they lack such things usually.
I think that is it anyway.
Also I'm a teen. Though I understand the going against teens. I hate most of my classmates. And the people in my grade in general.

Agreed, just Cause 90 percent of us are idiots dosent mean we all are
I AM THE PUN GOD ~Me , at some point in timeI don't understand how imagining something is socially awkward. Imagining stuff is a solitary activity.
I guess if you got too into imagining the scenario (to the point of unconsciously acting it out) it would be socially awkward.
Or maybe the person who made it is so socially awkward that even their imagination thinks they're dorks.
So, in the U.S., randomly stripping is a signal that you want to sing the national anthem? - That HumanOr maybe it's just a huge case of Meme Decay which should totally be a trope.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.While likely, that's not as interesting as my idea.
And Meme Decay really does need to be a trope.

So, in the U.S., randomly stripping is a signal that you want to sing the national anthem? - That HumanThing is, it probably applies to all memes more than six hours old.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Sadly, modern memes aren't gonna be discredited so quickly.
"Somehow the hated have to walk a tightrope, while those who hate do not."Discredited Meme would be that a meme becomes tired. Meme Decay would be a meme's uses falling out of its meaning (I'm looking at you, Fauxtivational Poster).
I saw one of those Socially Awkward Penguin memes, and one said, "Listens to favorite song. Imagines playing the guitar in front of friends and crush."
What I don't understand is, just how does that make you socially/awkward/weird?
"Somehow the hated have to walk a tightrope, while those who hate do not."
