So am I the only one who finds it hilarious that this is the closest thing we've got to a Justice League movie at the moment?
The very best, like no one ever was. Check out my Spider-Man fanfic here! [1]And I hope it kinda stays that way. Don't take me wrong, but DC ain't exactly doing it right with any non-Batman franchise.
... speaking of Batman, allow me to remind you all that this has what is essentially GOB as Batman.
That was funny.
And I too remember having Lego pieces stuck together so hard I hate to separate them with my teeth. Ah, good times.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI had a dedicated Lego Separator at one point to help me with that kind of stuff. Still probably have it stored away with all my old Lego sets.
@Strato: GOB?
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.A character from Arrested Development who is played by Will Arnett who voices Batman in this film
I'm on Youtube Reviewing Things Cause I can.Oh.
I really need to get on watching that show eventually.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Okay, so the TV Tropes page says that Lord Business is going to destroy the world by gluing it together.
This whole film feels like roughly what would happen if you gave a ten-year-old every playset ever and asked him to tie them all into a story. And it is awesome.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. This could inspire millions of kids to get even more creative with their Lego sets.
Hell even I'm looking back at my mini Lego set of a Policeman and his truck.
I'm on Youtube Reviewing Things Cause I can.As a kid all I had was a standard set, a pirate-ship set, and some Bionicles.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.I think I still have a Blue Bionicle in my room somewhere.
No matter how hard I closed it in, it could never fit inside it's box without being disassembled.
Ahh memories.
I'm on Youtube Reviewing Things Cause I can.I had a few Rock Raiders. They were the coolest thing EVER, but I sadly only have the plastic base for Rock Raider HQ, a few disassembled minifigures, and the window plastic of my Granite Grinder.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatOH! I also had this underwater-exploration set. Can't remember any more specifics than that.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. So who else here still builds things with Lego?
Aaaaaaaaaaand watching the trailer for the umpteenth time I just noticed the Batjet's got the tiny fire decals spinning around on the ends of his engines.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.I had my dad's set from when he was a kid and pretty much every space set, of which I only built the shuttle and one or two others.
I did have mega blocks pirates sets though. it didn't take long for me to disregard the giant ship parts and just use the bits that were just lego blocks.
I'm baaaaaaackExactly! I can imagine the writers just looking at this film like what they had imagined, when they were children, playing with every single playset they had! It's like the apparent randomness of the first season of Adventuretime- they seem to just write it like a child playing with toys. I love it when writer tap into their inner child again!

I do. Frequently. It's one of my big hobbies. Sometimes I put sets together per the instructions, display them for a few days, then take them apart. Sometimes I build new stuff. Sometimes I just get out my minifigs and imagine how they would interact with each other as characters.
Why yes, I am a big kid, thanks for asking.
Stuff what I do.I saw this trailer online first, then with my dad when we went to see Monsters University. It was fun seeing his reactions to it! We both thought... for a concept like this... the trailer makes look actually good!

I still build with LEGO, as you can see from my gallery.

With a "0", not an "O".A lego movie? Pfft, this is going to be the dumbest thing ever.
(Actually watches trailer)
...This might just be one of the greatest things I've ever seen. It's like they've taken my childhood experiences with legos and turned it into a movie. And that is awesome.
Reaction of Everyone Ever.
Anyone remember that LEGO Backlot game from last decade or so? Guess who was in it?◊
