I haven't been to Disneyland in over 20 years.
"Allah may guide their bullets, but Jesus helps those who aim down the sights."I've never been to Disneyland.
You'd think there'd be some leniancy with the certified mint of cash Marvel's been bringing in.
even a 5% cut of the Marvel movie grosses would net them several million.
Come sail your ships around me, and burn your bridges down.I havent been there for a while. I kind of miss it, maybe I should go once before my knees get bad.
Its kinda hard to get there when you are not a US citizen. They make us jump through a lot of hoops.
I've been to Tokyo Disneyland once. The price there was about $70 USD per adult ticket, though for some strange reason I managed to convince the ticket clerk to let my (Japanese) girlfriend in there at the teenage rate, which was roughly $55 USD. Dunno how the hell that worked, cause she was almost 29 back then and you'd think the clerk, being Japanese herself, would know what a female Japanese teenager looks like in comparison to an adult...
Still though, the ticket price is definitely worth it. This isn't your average amusement park we're talking about, it's freaking Disneyland, and the freebies you can get if you get there early enough more than make up for it. Though they could lower the food and souvenir costs at the very least, cause ice cream and other snacks costs more than $3 bucks for a small serving over there!
I went twice, once when I was 6 and again when I was 12 (for a school trip). I remember for the first time we got some friend of ours who worked there to buy us discount tickets.
I went there back when I was 11, but I haven't visited since.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.I went to the one in Paris when I was about 8, but from what I heard, it's not as good as the American ones.
WELCOME TO MEME HELL!!!Disneyland Paris is rather infamous, to say the least.
I've been to Disneyland in California twice before, and though I can't really remember too much (as I was a kid at the time), I really did enjoy it a lot. (Though I think I preferred LEGOLand )
They've also got this thing in their Downtown Disney area called DisneyQuest, basically an indoor amusement park, rides and all. We have something similar in my area that just opened up about a year or two ago called iPlayAmerica, though it's a LOT smaller and loses its novelty quickly.
I have been to Disney World a LOT, though, though again, as a kid, so I don't remember too too much.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. What kind of Lovecraftian crack is Disney smoking?
And this is surprising how, exactly? Prices for all kinds of things go up.
whateverStill worth it.
Hell, they could probably charge me five times as much and I'd be like, bitch, it's Disneyland.
You need an adult.I've never been to Disneyland either. And if that's the price, I prefer some other parks.
Never been to Disneyland, and I'd rather pay about the same for Comic-Con.
Honestly for those prices I'd rather go to 6th Street in Austin.
Honestly, TV Tropes tends to strike me as one of the less well-off geek crowds, financially.

whateverThe flowershop gig wasn't enough to pay for my video games. Much less Disneyland.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min Kim*hugs my Annual Pass*
When I was a small child, my mom used to take my sister and me to Disneyland. Admission for all three of us together clocked in at under $50. This was just after the individual ride coupons had been phased out, leaving just the Unlimited Use Passport.
And bizarrely enough, it was less crowded back then.
Stuff what I do.The reason I find it outrageous is that, with the similarly balls-high kids ticket prices, Disney is now asking you to shell out over $200 for just one day at their amusement park (assuming you have a nuclear family), and that's not counting the merchandise from there. Whether it's worth it or not is up to your opinion, but you have to admit that's what leading sociologists allegedly refer to as "really really fucking expensive".
Basically, in an economy like this, if you're anything like my family you ain't goin' to Disneyland this year unless A. both of your parents work in a skyscraper or B. you give up absolutely everything for months (food included) until you've finally raised enough to go.

pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSA few hundred dollars isn't that much if you mean to save up for it, though it would be a lot to drop out of hand. But that depends on your income, I suppose. I get 700 dollars a fortnight, but I don't have bills to pay.
And the quality of the park matters, of course. If it's a wet, muddy fairground with shitty rides that you have to stand in line half the day for and shitty overpriced processed food that tastes like cardboard, get the fuck out. I'm assuming that DISNEYLAND would at least be worth the price, but I could be wrong.
You need an adult.Honestly, I would say it is technically worth it. But realistically speaking, you're probably at least either upper-middle class or have been saving up for a long time if you're actually going to a Disney Park.

Welp. If there was any hope of me going to Disneyland in the near future, it's gone now. :/
