Basically, describe a type of battle, and what music would be going through your mind at the time. (Yes, I'm aware that most of us have only been warriors/soldiers in RP Gs, video games, and the like. Just play along, dammit!) For instance, some of mine:

Marching Into Battle: Either "Battle Without Honor or Humanity" by Tomayasu Hotei, or "I'm Shipping Up To Boston" by the Dropkick Murphys.
God Of War-style Sword and Sorcery Battles: Just about any fast Heavy Mithril tune (I'm partial to "On The Way To Ainor" by Rhapsody Of Fire)
I've Been Spotted; Gotta Fight My Way Out: "You Know My Name" by Chris Cornell (aka the theme from Casino Royale) or Harry Gregson-Williams' theme to Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. During a time when combat seems to slow down, it'll switch over to "Gimme Shelter" by the Rolling Stones.
80s Training Montage: "The Touch" by Stan Bush.

I'd include links to the tunes, but my computer's been trying to kill itself for the last week or so. But these are just a few examples.

Embroiled in slave rebellion, I escaped crucifixion simply by declaring 'I am Vito', everyone else apparently being called 'Spartacus'.

Nice idea.

I essentially need only one battle theme, and that is the entire Oranssi Pazuzu Album "Muukulainen Puhuu". Eldritch Abomination Black Metal at its best .

Just casually dancing over the battlefield, as everyone around me breaks into violent cramps and starts barfing up and/or pooping our their own viscera .
