And hello, Jawmetal.
I'll take a miner/engraver when there's one free.

"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984Ok Rules are up. Let me know who wants to be dorfed.
Who watches the watchmen?dorfed?
like, a dorf is given their name?
Yeap.
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984it would be kind of cool to see how i'd inevitably die...
Arcan Genth, reports for dorfly duty!
No preference on profession, gender, or disposition!
Phoenixor dropping in, wishing dorfification. No real preferences in terms of jobs, unless you have a medical dorf in the original team.
I guess we could go... wherever we please.Awaiting dwarf role here. (I have no particular preference, but keeping with a little continuity, an adult male.)
"If you have any beefs with Santa, do remember to SETTLE IT IN SMASH!" Quote by EdveedRequesting dorfing as a miner, mechanic or some offshoot of engineering dorf. Per my last journal entry in Beigeknife, a migrant would work fine for the continuing story :)
EDIT: Fortress Page is UP:Jawmetal. Needs wiki love.

Who watches the watchmen?Oooh! Oooh! BOOZESMITH.
First edit: Also, can I get a male dorf, named some dorfy-sounding version of Condorito? What it is I leave as an exercise to the Dorfer. But I would like to hit Legendary as Boozesmith this go-round. :)
Second Edit: Also, I'd like to be a lot more IC, from all participants. Can we have character profiles of various P Cs linked in the main post?
Third Edit:
Okay, here's a description of Condorito:
Alright then...
Condorito Stinthadethab is married to Vucar Dyeglens, he is a citzen of the Ecru Road, he is a member of the permanent town, he is a former member of the bust of noses, he arrived at Jawlmetal on the 15th of Sandstone in the year 252, he is 143 years old, born on the first of Granite in the year 112.
He is corpulent, his sideburns are clean-shaven, his very long moustache is arranged in double braids, his very long beard is arranged in double braids, his medium length hair is neatly combed, he has a jutting chin, his teeth are gapped, his aquamarine eyes have slightly large irises, his skin is dark peach, his lips are somewhat thin.
He is strong and slow to tire, but he is susceptible to disease and very slow to heal.
Condorito Stinthadethab likes garnierite, adamantine, yellow grossular, the color aqua, cages, pigs for their snorts and guppies for their coloration. When possible he prefers to consume polar bear, prickle berries, and river spirits. He absolutely detests hamsters. He has poor focus.
He is quick to anger. He is comfortable in social situations. He occasionally overindulges. He becomes completely helpless in stressful situations. He enjoys being in crowds. He appreciates art and natural beauty. He dislikes intellectual discussions. He loves to defy convention. He is immodest. He is confident. He talks to himself when he's annoyed.
So yeah.

"...An overfed, long-haired, leaping gnome..." - Eric Burdon/WarI will hopefully not lose my phone and forget my password simultaneously this time, so I'd like a dorfing as well. Possibly as a crossbowman if in need of militia, metalcrafter if not, but that's only if it doesn't conflict with what we already have.
Fixed Profile page@Condorito:
Ye seek profiles? How should we give 'em over? Via Personal Message?
"If you have any beefs with Santa, do remember to SETTLE IT IN SMASH!" Quote by EdveedIs there a way to link to a specific post, or make a collapsible chunk o' post? Those are the only two ways I can think to do it off the top of my head, without making a hooooge first post.
If we can do that, then we can just have a list in the first post, otherwise we have to scroll through or ctrl-f to find how people want their characters portrayed.

"...An overfed, long-haired, leaping gnome..." - Eric Burdon/WarDorfed please. Whatever's fine, honestly, I can make it work.
In hindsight? This could have been avoided.I'd also like to be Dorf'd. Preferably as military, but I'm fine with anything.
Well, THAT could have gone better.I would like to be dwarfed as a butcher this time. A butcher of animals, that is.
dorfed as an axedorf would be nice.

Specific post dorfings need a much bigger population then we currently have.
Who watches the watchmen?Dorf me please, if you would be so kind.
I can be anything as long as my name is "Oscar the first".
EDIT: It can wait until you get more dorfs.

'Nother Blacksmith for me please!
The Iron Lady shall make the metal for... Um... The jaw... I guess.
The most edgy person on the Internet.I would like to be dorfed as the first baby that gets born in the new fortress.
Considering the mortality rate of children in an average DF game, that should either be very interesting or very short.
"Here lies Elle. Killed by a wood practice spear".
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984Would like to be dorfed. Would prefer an engineer (of any subtype) or a sworddorf (drafted peasant or whatever works for me) and a male dorf, if possible.
Edit: Would like a turn running this place. I have some experience with Dwarf Fortress, and will not intentionally ruin the place.

The third succession game in the Tvt DF Succession game series.
Watch this spot for more information, play lists, and general rules.
- Tuefel Hunden IV
- fishsicles
- Gand Aand R
- Caspellaer(No Contact 1)
- Durza
- Condorito
- Ringsea
- Bladebound
- Paramythion
How turns work.Players on the list have two days to respond before we move on down the list. If anyone cannot be contacted for two turn cycles (all the players on the list have had a turn or bowed out of a turn til later) they will be dropped from the list.
You can ask to be re-added to the list but you will have lost your pevious spot and be moved to the end of the line.
We will do our best to give anyone who willing gives up a turn for any reason to get a shot at the fort before we start the next turn cycle.
Players are free to negotiate between each other for delays or temporary swaps in position on the list for turns.
Rules
No deliberate destruction or vandalization of the fort. If this occurs it will be reverted to a previous save.
Please make an effort to label your levers. No fort dooming levers please.
NO BREACHING HELL! If this occurs the fort will be reverted to a previous save.
Just to make sure NO BREACHING HELL! Breaching hell ruins the FPS of the map and therefore the entire fort.
No cheats.Ie no use of DF hack for mining or other uses. Yes it is obvious when you use the cheat namely mining out an ore vein in the shape of the vein with no exploratory mining nearby. Only time DF Hack may be used is for clean up to improve FPS. For example clean all, clean owned, and dump/destroy commands to clean up loose trash for improving FPS.
Vanilla only graphics please. Using different graphic sets of the players choice tends to produce a number of graphical glitches across the saves.
Turns
You have one in game year or one in real life week, then the save must be passed on. If after a week passes and we don't hear from you we go with the last most recent save. A save can be passed on before the end of a turn at any time. Players who pass up a turn entirely and never take control of the fort may be given a shot to do so at a later point or before the next turn cycle starts.
This rule is not quite iron clad and may be enforced with varying levels of strictness depending on the situation at the time.
Passing on Saves
You have to use a file compression program like Win Zip, 7 Zip, or Win Rar to generate a compressed save file. That save file is then uploaded to the File Depot.
Post saves to the Dwarf Fortress file depot. File Depot Link If you need help please ask.
If you are having any sort of trouble getting the save to compress correctly, issues with the file depot, or other problems please let us know in the thread so we can try and help you out.
The successor to Beigeknife. The name was chosen at random.
The current map is a forested mountain side with a volcanic spire containing magma. A few odd map glitches have created a few unique features.
