No. Not even the caption holds any weight.
Motion to pull.
I think they're aliens but there's not even any technology. Surely we can find something better. In the mean time let's pull it.
Supporting the pull, with or without replacement.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.I have no idea what that has to do with the trope, aliens, or technology.
Check out my fanfiction!Image is pulled. I think we could get a good image from this video I found in the examples. The alien holding the phone could work.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Looking through the examples, I didn't see anything that would make a good pic...leaning toward calling this a BUPKIS and moving on.
I think that'll result in another JAFAAC if we were to just use that one picture (since a pic of aliens holding a phone doesn't explain the fact that they accidentally left the phone behind).
Perhaps we can use two pictures there: One of them holding the phones, another, getting freaked out of mankind using them?
Even then, though, it may be difficult to get a trope out of this, although that's just my opinion.

Nevermind.

How about something from Ancient Aliens? Like this: [1]◊. "Suits that allow us to survive in space? You knew who else is in space? Aliens."
Sorry. The URL had a timestamp. I removed it, so it should work now.

It still doesn't work.
It works when I drag it into the address bar, but there's a watermark for some Blu-Ray site.
Moon◊ That can be cropped out.
"A watermark is any printing or image deliberately overlaid across the image in order to interfere with seeing it completely clearly. It's an anti-theft measure. We can't use it. Period."
Darn. It doesn't specifically mention cropping, but my guess is that we can't use it unless a moderator says otherwise. We could still use a screenshot from the show, just not this image. To make things easier, I'll just provide a link to the page. [1]. It's the image after "Supplemental Materials."

I'm getting the feeling we can't really get a good image. Motion to leave without image.
Pinball cleanup threadI can probably get a screenshot of the image I'm taking about. Just give me a little time.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. These are screenshots, so we can use them. This show is hilarious.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. For starters, how can we tell the suits on those statues are space suits?
And another, how can you tell those statues represent aliens?
To me, it looks like ancient statues of men in fancy suits.
Even if you can tell they're space suits, one can only get the picture that space suits had been here for quite a while, since those "aliens" look like men.
Even if we CAN tell those are aliens, how can we tell the carvers of those statues are being artistic and not statues depicting an actual event?

They're not really aliens, but that is what the show is trying to say. The images are so strikingly similar, that it suggests that aliens gave us spacesuits. If this doesn't work, then I've got nothing.
Eh, fair enough. I'm gonna stop trying to find an image, now.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.I think that show is too hard to take seriously for the images to work well. The trope is about it actually happening, not just some nutjob believing it.
Check out my fanfiction!So... is that is for this thread? Doesn't seem like anyone's got any good suggestions.
Pinball cleanup threadWe've come close, but I'm not ruling out that this might be unpicturable.
That's how I've been feeling this whole time. But I don't have any other ideas. My whole idea with the Ancient Aliens idea was to Lampshade its ridiculousness in the caption. If we used the phone commercial, maybe we could get an image of the alien with the phone and a human with the phone. What else would an alien be doing with a 90's cell phone?

I'm not sure what's going on in this picture. It seems entirely caption-reliant.
@9: Updated to include caption.
