Definite interest!
I have a character in mind too, eh-heh.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."I'm interested. I have two settings of my own to choose from, so... I guess I have plenty of choices to make.
And I wouldn't mind helping out with GM'ing.
Would be interested but I don't have a universe to contribute.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Sounds interesting. I'd definitely join if I can come up with any decent ideas, ehe.
Burn up, hurricane of justice! Also, um, I'd definitely help GM.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Definite interest. I'll probably have something Techno Trash Cyberpunk to contribute.
Ummmm... this actually kinda already exists. In Writer's Block. The "Character Development" threads? I believe the current one is "Character Mansion"...
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serial...And?
"Yup. That tasted purple."Well, I just don't see the point in making this when you could just go and RP over there. The premise of this RP is pretty much the entire stated purpose of those threads in the Writer's Block subfora, so why make another one?
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialBecause we want to do it here. Simple.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Um... no it's not? Just because OC's are involved doesn't mean it's the same thing. I took a quick look and it's just in a mansion and not even slightly like this. It's like saying there can't be more then one crossover. Or more then one Fate RP. Especially when, beyond including one element, they're wildly different.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."...In fact I can't see where you're coming from at all; this is as much a World Building exercise as well as a character development thing, whereas what you're comparing it to is just "some characters are in a nondescript room, see how they bounce off each other."
"Yup. That tasted purple."@KSPAM: Leave.
Anyway, personally I think it's for the best if characters aren't really effected by being in other worlds. It lets people's ideas shine more, eh-heh.
Um, but that's just my opinion.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Fine, fine. Have fun *leaves*

Exist, pursued by bearBesides logical reasons and different functionality of universes, I see no reason why things would be different in other universes. Sure, if the universe is purely and exclusively female I can understand people getting gender bent. Now, I don't understand how you lose control over your own Chi just for being in a different universe or have your biology and/or powers severely corrupted. If the universe follows a set magic pattern, I can understand learned magic being messed up but device and innate magic should remain fine.
Besides that, I'm definitely interested in this.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."I think from past experience the problem is with worlds with an explicit Fisher Kingdom bent.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Again, I'm pretty against that sort of thing.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Hm... Probably gonna consider Nicholas Santos or Nick Chida... Probably.

I'd be against stuff changing about the characters when they go to different worlds too, to be honest.
Burn up, hurricane of justice!Wait, when you mean OCs, do you mean OCs in RPGs or OCs in general?
OC's from original settings.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."
So I had this idea...
Remember all those crossover RPs that were and, um, are still popular over here? Especially those ones that involve a group of characters crossing over and journeying to other worlds? I always really liked that concept, the idea of a bunch of characters in a grand adventure across the multiverse, but I was thinking of doing something a little different to shake it up a bit.
Basically, all of the characters and worlds crossing over would be original creations of the players. It would be played like a crossover between fandoms, but of course the actual "series" involved would be of the players' own devising. For one thing, this would immensely cut down any incidences of a character recognising another character from a work of fiction.
Of course, there might be a little bit of ironing out needing to be done with this concept, which is why this is an interest check rather than a signup thread. We'd probably need to figure out how to work out how (or even if) differences between worlds effect the characters, and how to balance things if someone wanted to introduce a serious, down-to-earth world whilst someone else wanted to make one that was completely off the wall and filled with magic robots. And as for tone... Well, I'd be willing to allow darker moments, but I'd kind of want it to be ultimately somewhat idealistic in tone, as cynicism has never sat well with me.
So yeah, basically... Would anyone be interested in an RP that crosses over our own fictional worlds rather than the usual established fictional worlds? ...And would anyone be willing to co-GM seeing how I kind of suck at GMing? >.<
