Honestly, I'm not even sure if it is an example. This trope is about something invincible being taken down by something mundane. Superpowered kill-everything touch doesn't sound mundane.
oh, yeah i guess it isn't an example at all.
So, should we just pull it, or try replacing?
Because I don't think this can be illustrated in a pic.

Pull it; it's not an example. The first thing that comes to mind is if we can find a pic of Achilles getting the arrow in his heel, but that might not be clear enough.
I suppose that would be much better than what was there before.
How to show it would be a bit of a problem though, as it can be even more misleading than the previous image if done wrong.
It is the trope namer for a different trope after all

Bad image there. Pull.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI think any image showing a Scooby Doo Monster of the Week being unmasked could qualify; seeing as every villain is portrayed as invincible at the beginning of each episode. Something like Dramatic Unmask. But then again... we'd end up with two pretty similar images. Did I just argue myself out of this?
I don't actually think you could display this in one image. Maybe a comic of an example?

They are examples, but I worry that it might make people think this is about invincible people having one true weakness. That is, it's actually about an Achilles' Heel. It is a pre-existing expression and how most are familiar with the term.
How about a still frame from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi with Darth Vader on his back holding his arm up defensively against Luke's lightsabre? No need to show Luke at all. The focus is on Vader and the fact that he's defeated.
I'm fairly sure I can do a screencap of the appropriate frame, if that's appropriate.
Edit: Proposed image(s) added. I'm feeling like the second example would be the better one.

Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMI'm not entirely sure what point you're talking about, as I haven't watched the film in a while.
I would like to see a screencap of it.
You got it
Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMAs Helter pointed out, this torpe is about someone badass being taken down by something mundane like a disease. I don't think a lightsabre counts.
I tried googling "Superman sick", but didn't find anything great. Best result was this:

Huh. That's...not bad. Better than nothing, a definitely improvement over the current...the only issue I might have is that someone mistakes it for a depowered Superman, but I think that's less likely.
They appear to be almost the same trope, only this one is specifically about death, and the other is about injury. Seems like kind of a less-than-important distinction.
I like 11.2. That's the first time in Star Wars we see Vader at someone else's mercy. Everything up until that point shows how Bad Ass he is, and now he's lost. The image says everything. No caption needed.
Oh wait, did not read . I'll have to reconsider.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. The "sick Superman" pic works for me pending something else.
Incidentally, is there any process one needs to go through to remove the page quote? It has nothing to do with the trope.
There's a cleanup thread in the Long Term Projects forum for just that purpose.
Clock is set.
Clock's up; locking for inactivity/lack of consensus. No further action is to be taken based on this thread.

While what is technically an example is shown, it isn't the focus of the image and only works if the reader knows who the superpets are.
This is the current image.
