Well, locations are a little funny today.

What's funnier is that very few of them look out of place compared to what they were before.

It took me a long time before I noticed it.

Google.com is announcing Google Nose.

Youtube has announced that the contest is over, they will no longer be accepting submissions, and as such the Youtube contest website will be closing while they review the millions of entries and picking a winner in 2023.

Woot.com announced eleven new sub-stores (one of which is real)

Think Geek does fake items every year. Everything in the second row and all but the last two in the third are jokes.

SCP Foundation has replaced their most popular articles with Dog Facts.

Gmail is launching Gmail Blue

Wikipedia is doing the usual

I'm really curious what Tumblr is gonna be doing.

Well, the only tumblr I follow did something of its own (Escher Girls^note "A blog to showcase and archive the way women are portrayed in media", or something like that. It's mostly comic book girls in anatomically impossible or situationally impractical poses for teh sexies. And redraws of them that are less grotesque. to Escher Gills^note "This is a blog to archive and showcase the prevalence of certain ways fish are depicted by the evolution industry and human media, specifically how fish are posed, evolved and distorted for human consumption or amusement." Includes pictures of flounder, for example.). The main tumblr page doesn't look too odd.

Heh. I like the Escher Girls thing, largely because I find such blatant attempts to get me interested in things by screaming 'LOOK!!! TITS AND ARSE!!!!' massively offensive and would love to see more realistic females in media.

This year's ThinkGeek product is an interactive BMO! I really, really hope this becomes real.
