No Steam, no!

So... What've YOU bought on sale?

For me:

- Puddle
- Weird Worlds: Infinite Space
- The Binding of Isaac (Addictive as a mother fucker)
- Alien Spidy (Cute as hell)
- Universe Sandbox
- Duke Nukem 3D
- Fallout (The original)
- A New Beginning (The Final Cut)
- Afterfall InSanity
- Antichamber (GET IT)
- Angry Birds Space
- Garry's Mod
- Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams
- Hydrophobia: Prophecy
- The Penny Arcade Adventures games (All three of them)
- Postal 2
- Retrovirus
- The Walking Dead

And there's more I wanted to buy, but couldn't because Steam kept crapping out when I added multiple items to my cart. As you can see, my wallet hates me.

He meant Organ, not Orgam. Anyway, yeah. It's Oregon Trail with zombies and some other new gameplay elements.

Yeah, I meant Orga N trail, sorry.

So far, as a guy who NEVER played Oregon Trail, its pretty damn fun, though the shooting controls do take a while to get used to.

I got Recettear just recently and when they were unveiling Steam 4 Linux, I bought like 70% of the library of Linux games on Steam.

I bought Analogue A Hate Story, because it was crazy cheap and I love me a good plot.

Wondering if I should use this opportunity to get into the BIT.TRIP-series, but I dunno where to start with that.

I agree that Antichamber is a really great puzzle game... I don't know if it's on sale at the moment, but it's not that expensive anyway, so anyone who hasn't already should really check it out. Definitely one of the better "indie" purchases I've made yet. Don't freak out about the timer on the wall—nothing happens when it hits zero. The makers are just fucking with you.

As I mentioned in the thread below this one (as of this writing, but not of you reading it), I got Recettear, Audiosurf and Terraria. I still can spare 2€ and consider getting another game. I considered The Path, but I'm very unsure about that. Nation Red seems also quite nice (and more an actual game).

Just wanted to point out that Super Hexagon is one freaking dollar (plus one cent). And it's an awesomely addictive game. I own it on both Steam and the iTunes App Store - it's so nice, I bought it twice!

Also, Recettear gets my full recommendation as well. Although I think everybody and their brother has it already. But if you don't, definitely buy it.

Oh, BTW, if you haven't bought The Binding Of Isaac (and it's expansion pack), you really should. I thought it was just a really fun, REALLY offensive game. Then, as I played it, I realized I was playing an artistic masterpiece.

Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.

[up][up] It's also IMPOSSIBLE TO WIN.

Well, not impossible. But it's going to take a lot of practise, and a fair bit of luck.

I just saw the Super Hexagon trailer. It sure looks great, but... It also looks fucking hard. In the "reminds me of bullet hell shooter, but worse"-hard sense. Like, "I can't believe that I could even remotely successfully play it"-hard.

[up][up] Most people, myself included, get a game over in a matter of seconds on the first several tries. But you'd be surprised what you can pull off with a little practice.

It's not a game for those who give up or get frustrated easily. But if you're a Determinator, that "holy crap, I actually did it" feeling is amazing when you finally beat a mode.
