Ironwood of course, that is his master plan: construct adictional pylons
"And from what I've heard, anything coming out of the Warhammer universe is going to jack the universe up something awful."
Let just said Wh40k is not a good place to be....at all......
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"40k is filled with ridonkulousness.
Wait, what if Cinder ends up like Sarah Kerrigan? a Grimm mutated human?
that would be hilariously awesome

Uni catCinder Kerrigan, eh?
"I am the Grimm. Armies will be shattered. Worlds will burn. Now at last, on this world, vengeance shall be mine, for I am the Queen of Flames."
(Come on, there's no way that Cinder's motivation doesn't involve some form of vengeance XD)
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Well, some people just want to watch the world burn.
See what I did there? Cinder? Burn?
She seems so calm and soft spoken for a villain. It's a bit unnerving. Like a more talkative Neo in a certain way.
Mind you, a lot of villains start calmly.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Still, just the way she acts with everything she does, like it's just everyday business... Really unnerving like Neo.
I really want to see Cinder actually hurting or better, killing a named character.
Like...I dunno:
Cinder: So, do you feel like talking?
Victim: No. Give me your worst, and I still won't talk.
Cinder: That's a pity.
(Cinder incinerates the victim's tongue)
Victim: (Screams)
Cinder: It's fascinating how quickly the tongue can be rendered to a bubbling grease. It burns surprisingly easily, doesn't it?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Careful now, that's Roy Mustangs territory.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyThe last quote IS a modification of Mustang's quote.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I can see Cinder doing that. With a that smug smile of hers. And Neo giggling right next to her.
Random rambling.
Nightmare Fuel page entries...
Fuck, even THIS is scarier than anything in this show.
I really want to see Cinder actually hurting or better, killing a named character.
Same. I really want Cinder's first fight with RWBY to involve her completely overwhelming them. Like, they try everything, but Cinder just stomps them. It would be a good indication of just how scary Cinder really is compared to her underlings, as well as an indication of how powerful the upper tier people in RWBY really are.
In other words, their first fight with her is a Hopeless Boss Fight.
When they fight her again, possibly with their friends, she's more of an SNK Boss.

Ok, who let Light Yagami in here?droy:dont be silly, that way the show would live to their dark part in the opeing and add something of value in the nightmare fuel page, and we cant have that, cant we?
And right now I want a really close fight, so far everything is too well for the heroe, beaten coco and the other guy is good step a least.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Cinder wrecking Penny would be the best way to show how strong and brutal she can be without it being done to a human. After all, a robot can get their limbs cut off, or parts of them melted off and still live, and with no blood!
Also, if they wanted to leave a lasting impact for how much stronger Cinder is than Ruby? Have her destroy Crescent Rose in their fight, metaphorically destroying Ruby's confidence and pride.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...Oh that is Brilliant!
Ok, who let Light Yagami in here?Destroying Crescent Rose is probably a good way to go about it, all things considering. We've seen that Ruby is shit without her weapon.
I mean, I suppose Cinder's brief skirmish with her in Dance Dance Infiltration was the former just holding back a lot to not be spotted.
Also, Penny is a perfect candidate to be worf'd.
grahGetting either Penny or Crescent Rose wrecked would be a brilliant way to show serious damage being done to heroes while keeping it PG. I like that idea.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I'm not really convinced that we will be getting a high level of power escalation where the villains start out untouchable by the heroes and whatnot. I just haven't seen anything from the professionals that puts them leagues above the students.
That's why I think Coco's performance in the volume 2 finale was exaggerated. She killed 1 Deathstalker and 3 Nevermore in one go, which is way above what we'd seen from anyone and then she's beaten by someone who is clearly meant to be above average but doesn't look to be miles ahead of the rest of the cast.
They seem to think they'll need a plan to be able to handle P-money, for instance. And the fact that she's already world famous as a first year makes me think it would be weird to have exponential power escalation in each year above that.
An alternative way to look at it is that this is exactly why Cinder chose them to be Mercury and Emerald's opponents - she could see what the weakness of the pairing was and that the weakness played to Mercury and Emerald's strengths.
That's how match fixing would work, isn't it?
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Indeed, chances are that Velvet and Fox assumed that Coco and Yatsuhashi would have an advantage over most of the opponents...only for Mercury and Emerald being the ones to turn the Tactical Rock–Paper–Scissors against them
If Penny gets torn apart by Cinder, I would hope her blood is white. Because, you know, Aliens and stuff.
@unknowing: The only thing that's really consistent about 40k is that it makes an artform of trying too hard. It's all over the place in terms of nastiness, because there's like a billion different writers who have done their own thing with it. Ciaphas Cain is comparatively lighthearted about the Grimdark, and that's by far my favorite 40k fiction. It's also pretty approachable for someone who knows nothing about it. Then you have Gaunts Ghosts, where basically every named character has died by this point, everyone's doomed, and well, you know.
