Approve of the suggestion.

I like the second. She looks spunky.
Check out my fanfiction!I agree, but maybe it's a little close to Girlish Pigtails?
I like the Dennis the Menace (US) suggestion for several reasons.
- It has two youthful characters, Dennis and Margaret.
- They are clearly children (which is not true of the anime suggestions).
- They are cartoon characters. Unlike the live actors, they are "given" freckles.
See, I much prefer the live actors because they're honest-to-goodness examples with no "creating" needed. Also, to be honest, I don't see a need to use a cartoon when we've got an opportunity to use a good photograph.
In regards to the pic on Girlish Pigtails, Punky obviously is an example of both tropes, and it's not the same pic, so I don't see any issues.

I think having the same person for this and Girlish Pigtails would cause confusion unless there's a clear difference of what we're supposed to take from them and I don't see that difference because in both there's freckles and pigtails and she looks youthful and girlish.
I like the Dennis The Menace one because they both have freckles. One is symbolizing youthful energy and the other is symbolizing youthful innocence. (Is it just me or does this feel like more than one trope put together?)

I think the Girlish Pigtails add to the image and won't lead to confusion, and I also like a real person here. However, given that she's the image for Girlish Pigtails already, I would prefer more variety so Dennis The Menace is good.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I don't see how that would cause confusion either. Pigtails and freckles aren't exactly easy to confuse. As far as images go, 4.2 highlights the freckles more, and the one on Girlish Pigtails is more neutral.
That said, I prefer diversity, so I plug my own suggestion. The reasons described in #7 is why I picked that particular example of him/her/them.
Check out my fanfiction! Some pictures of Pippi Longstocking.
I like the second one the most. The last also works.
Varför tänkte inte jag på henne...
Check out my fanfiction!I love the fourth one. Definitely has the youth, and definitely has the freckles. It's also clear that she's been designed to look that way, rather than by incident.
Pippi #4 is good.
Pippi 4 and Pippi 2 are better than Pippi 1 and 3, but I don't have a preference between them. They both have my strong support.
Ja...
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I like 2 better because the snow frames her face in a more aesthetically pleasing way, but they're both good.

Check out my fanfiction!2 is good as well.
I think the freckles are clearer on Pippi 4 or either Punky Brewster. Probably vote for Pippi 4 out of the present options.
I would have a preference for the Dennis the Menace one (with title cut off as to focus on the kids) for the reasons mentionned above.
Crowner's hooked.
If Pippi wins we could use a caption like "NO! I don’t suffer from freckles.note ".
Source. If you understand Swedish.
Check out my fanfiction! The photo versions are all making me sick to look at. And I always thought I didn't mind freckles...
I must be cruel, but to be kind That bad may begin, and worse be left behind...do what, now?
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
If you check the image for Youthful Freckles, you'll see that the freckles are indeed... barely visible at all. I have to squint to see them, and I don't want to imagine what it must look like on lower-resolution screen.
IMHO, the freckles should be much more obvious to illustrate the trope. Here's my suggestion, for a start: Evangelyne◊ from Wakfu. At least her freckles are prominent.
