Just out of curiosity, do you know how to embed a video?
Peace is the only battle worth waging.I thought she'd done so before.
Though I kinda prefer a link to an embed anyway, as it makes the page load more slowly and sometimes freezes stuff for me.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here. The Weeknd finally disappears from the top te...oh, wait, never mind, he's still there.
Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 (July 11, 2015):
1. "See You Again" (11 weeks)
2. "Bad Blood"
3. "Cheerleader"
4. "Trap Queen"
5. "Shut Up and Dance"
6. "Can't Feel My Face" (new entry)
7. "Watch Me" (new entry)
8. "Uptown Funk"
9. "Good for You" (new entry)
10. "Hey Mama"
...
13. "Lean On"
14. "Fight Song"
67. "No Sleeep"
The number-one song of the week remains as stale as ever, but the chart makes up for it with not one, nor two, but three new entries in the top ten.
Is The Weeknd actually becoming a...thing now? He was a small name in R&B a year ago, and now he's truly broken into the mainstream. He's probably the closest we have to a breakout star so far this year, and I'm surprised "Can't Feel My Face" rose as quickly as it did. Perhaps we'll see it and "Cheerleader" fight for the number-one spot around a month from now.
Expect "Lean On" and "Fight Song" to enter the top ten soon.

Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy. As a Canadian, I've been familiar with his work since 2011. I've come to like him a lot over the years.
Peace is the only battle worth waging.Another one of those "summer" songs, but will it last long enough to perform well on the charts?

Peace is the only battle worth waging."Cool for the Summer" flung right to the top of iTunes after it dropped, so I'm going to call it as a future Top 10. At the worst, her fanbase will turn out and at least get it in the Top 20, like Fifth Harmony's "Worth It".
I love the chorus. It's a different direction for Demi, but it feels true to her values. It feels like a progression from "Really Don't Care", especially in light of the music video.
There's no way Fifth Harmony's fanbase is large enough to sustain WI for as long as it stayed up. It had mainstream crossover appeal and radio support as well. That happened mostly because Worth It is a really strong track, unlike the new Demi single.
Can't Feel My Face will likely reign over the chart after Cheerleader, as I predicted earlier.
I'm your jazz singer, and you're my cult leader.Even though it rips off "Talk Dirty"?

Peace is the only battle worth waging. That track continues the retro instrumentation going on in places. I approve.
I somewhat enjoy "Cool for the Summer", though not to the extent that I'd go out my way to listen to it.
"I Don't Like It, I Love It" was surprisingly good (despite the name), especially given that I don't really like Robin Thicke or Flo Rida. Kinda retro sound, which I like, and sort of a Friendly Fires feel to it, which I really like.

Ah look, everyone's favourite song of the summer got a video after long last:
Exactly what this is intended to achieve months after the song came, I don't even know, though it is easily the most memetic of the three singles she's put out thus far.
(There's some blood and other slightly unpleasant business up in there, though, take caution)

You mean "This Summer'a Gonna Hurt Like a Motherfucker" finally got a proper music video? :D
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Alright, not gonna lie, and you may be surprised:
I fucking love "Bitch Better Have My Money".
BBHMM is iconic already and the video only elevated it to a new level...great job Ri Ri. better bet no one is gonna mess with her again like the accountant that inspired the song.

I'm your jazz singer, and you're my cult leader.Since "Rather Be" got such glowing praise in this thread last year, some of you might like this too.
Oh, that song. I had forgotten all about it.
The vocal melodies remind me of many things in that song, but overall I do like it.
The Biebs is back in the top ten. Oh, and "Fight Song" fights its way there, too.
Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 (July 18, 2015):
1. "See You Again" (12 weeks)
2. "Cheerleader"
3. "Watch Me"
4. "Bad Blood"
5. "Trap Queen"
6. "Can't Feel My Face"
7. "Shut Up and Dance"
8. "Where Are U Now" (new entry)
9. "Hey Mama"
10. "Fight Song" (new entry)
...
14. "Worth It"
15. "Bitch Better Have My Money"
...
19. "The Hills"
Somehow, "Crank That (Soulja Boy) '15" is in the top three. I thought it'd fizzle out like that other Vine song, "Nasty Freestyle," but like "Trap Queen" it might actually have some longevity. I'm also shocked that "Bad Blood" only landed one week on top, but eh.
Oh, and one last thing: there's something about the top ten that's a touch off, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Is it just me?
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy. The fact that "Uptown Funk" isn't up there any more?
Yay for "Bad Blood" being on its way out.
How long until "This Summer's Gonna Hurt" makes it?
Peace is the only battle worth waging.Bingo.
This is the first week in 2015 in which "Uptown Funk" is absent from the top ten. It didn't quite tie the record currently held by LeAnn Rimes's "How Do I Live" for the most weeks there.

Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy."Watch Me" by Silento. It's a hip hop song by a young rapper to which you're supposed to perform choreographed dance moves. "Crank That" was a Dance Sensation on its own, but "Watch Me" references other dance crazes such as the Whip and the Nae Nae.
For good measure, Silento is 17 years old, the same age Soulja Boy was when "Crank That" became huge.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.Okay. I have never heard a single person say anything about this song, so it seems like despite its chart success no one really seems to care about it.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.
New single from Fetty Wap is climbing iTunes and Spotify. Another hit on his hands?
