The trope is about neutral members in a quarrelsome tema.
The "fandom" bits are trying to apply this trope to fandoms. We don't really need that.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanTeam Switzerland found in: 28 articles, excluding discussions.
Since January 1, 2012 this article has brought 39 people to the wiki from non-search engine links.
More inbounds than wicks is unusual for a trope with this few. The trope doesn't seem all that healthy, though. How old is it?
The name itself suggests to me either "fans of switzerland", or an entire team that maintains a neutral position. I suspect that the fannish element of the description comes from things like "Team Edward". If this can apply to individuals, then I'd say the name is slightly misleading, but if it's like a clique within a larger team or group, then that's not an issue.
If this has been around for a while, and it's mentioned on related trope pages, then I might think the name is a problem. Otherwise, I recommend cross-wicking, especially to related tropes, and releasing it back into the wild.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.Regardless of whether we rename, the description issue needs fixing.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI wonder if it would help to categorise the page. It looks a little messy as it is. Referring to fandom is essentially an Audience Reaction, but there are also real trope examples of it.
It does seem underused, but I don't think the name is hard to understand, unless there's evidence of misuse towards the literal meaning.
Check out my fanfiction!Any reason not to cut the page?
My vote would be to make this apply to in-universe groups only and kill all references to fandom/shipping.

Same.
I think the 'team' designation as a connection to fandom misuse seems plausible. If we do decide to rename on that basis, I propose Faction Switzerland.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableI edited the page a little to give a better view of the actual contents.
I think the Fandom folder can be axed for the improvement of TV Tropes.
The question is what to do with the rest of it. It's not exactly thriving.
Check out my fanfiction!I do not feel that "team" has anything to do with fandom misuse.
The oldest item in the page history is 2010-2011.
I think some redirect farming could help here.
I do not see any links from related tropes worth mentioning in the Related Page, so I would probably go and add some.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanClocking.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerI'm good with Septimus's plan, which probably doesn't require TRS. Cross-wicking and listing a trope on related tropes is a free action. :)
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee. There's some weak support for cutting the Fandom folder. Personally I don't really think it adds much to the page, but once separated like this, it doesn't hurt as much as it did before.
Should we?

Check out my fanfiction!Crosswicked. Go ahead and cut the fandom material.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanYeah, I say cut the fandom examples and purge the fandom parts from the description.
Right. Fandom is cut away.
Anything more need to be done? Some index it can be put on?
Check out my fanfiction! It's already on Characters as Device.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSome other index it can be put on?
Check out my fanfiction! Can't find any fitting ones, beyond the indexes on the compared tropes: Romanticism Versus Enlightenment and Sliding Scale of Leadership Responsibility.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOkay. Are we done, then?
Check out my fanfiction!I think so.

Check out my fanfiction!
I'm really not sure what to make of this one. This is listed under the "character as devices" trope, but this page's description and its examples seem to be talking rather subjective tidbits about this kind of fandom, and also fandom in general with a couple of actual "character" tropes. There any way we can address this?
I now go by Graf von Tirol.
