There's a reason why she's called big, buff cheeto puff.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersSame, Peridot. Same. -sheds single tear at Jasper's biceps-
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Muscles are nice.
Oh really when?Jasper is the manliest character on the show.
Speaking of manly, the Japanese dub really made the wrong decision in giving Garnet a more masculine voice. It really ruins Stronger than You. Maybe it's that Japanese doesn't translate perfectly for SU, but the dub sounds like they just didn't bother trying very hard. It's one of the worst dubs for the show I've heard.
"No will to break."I wonder if Sijo still keeps up with the show.
Currently writing something. Currently procrastinating.Sorry. Happens every time I see the new layout.
So, any news since the last bomb? Air dates or episode summaries?
Ahahaha, no.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Ugh, I'm trying to get my brother to keep watching episodes with me. I worked it out; if we can sit down and watch three episodes in one sitting, we can finish Mirror Gem/Ocean Gem in three sittings! And the plot can actually start!

Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenThe plot technically started with "Lion: 2 the Movie".
Well yes, but I personally point to those two kickstarting most of the rest of the plot. Yes, Peridot would have come anyway, but thats the first time Homeworld as a concept gets brought up.
I think we've had this discussion. The metaplot start can get fuzzy, but overall, that's my personal opinion.

Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenI feel bad for the parents who just decide to sit down with their kid who's actually following the story and have no idea what the fuck is going on.
It's not Ogre, It's Never Ogre.Peridot coming when she did wasn't a coincidence. Lapis told Homeworld that the Crystal Gems were all gone, so they decided there checking on the Cluster wouldn't risk exposing it when they could still stop it.
Edit wrong tab!

x3 That would be awesome, especially if it was a super gay episode episode with a lot of fusion and the subtext that goes along with it.
C'mon execs. You wanna have a bunch of hiatuses, whatever, but don't go right back on hiatus after airing a block of episodes. That's just dickish.
That's not "dickish", that's exactly when you need a hiatus.
This hiatus is probably so that they can air the rest of the season without breaks or something. CN doesn't usually do the thing where they maximize hiatuses so that each episode can be a premiere, like Disney and Nick sometimes do.
So far it looks like Homeworld already thought the Crystal Gems were all gone.

Guys, remember this KBCW post from November 14, 2013 (ten days after the first episode aired)? It not only more or less foreshadowed the events of Mirror Gem and Ocean Gem, but it also got some people on reddit thinking about why Lapis was in the mirror.
See, the entry has Ronaldo thinking a blue fish he saw in the pet store can understand him, and he asks it if it was "part of a botched government experiment to transplant human consciousness into marine life for underwater espionage".
I think this might mean Lapis was put in the mirror to act as a spy for Homeworld.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I like how Ronaldo calls that betta fish a girl when only male bettas have the colorful flowy fins and such.
Currently writing something. Currently procrastinating.I'm reminded of that comic where Steven meets Crystal Meth. And Garnet does the 'three eyes on you' thing.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenWait what?
"No will to break."By "meets Crystal Meth", he means "meets a gem version of Walter White" (complete with a gemstone made of Blue Sky) who tells Steven something like "We need to cook... (next panel) Cookie Cats!".

Make Fried Ice Cream...Gem wants.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.
I imagine she's given that speech multiple times, she's just saying it again because Steven will still be impressed.
