We Are Our Avatars - Dark Dungeons Sign Up and Interest Check

Basically, our avatars are in the Chick Tract "Dark Dungeons". In fact, they do not know they are in a Chick Tract (well, they start off not knowing, anyways). They have replaced the character Debbie.

• Name
• Gender
• Age
• Character's Name
• Character's Class (Try to make it a class that you can easily see in a D&D style setting. I suggest looking up D&D classes)
• Witch Type (Based off their character class [Cleric-> Priest]. Note: If your avatar has a character with the same class as another, they MUST have the same Witch Type as that avatar as well. Let's try to keep things constant. I'll make a list if it helps.)
• Appearance (Which is really obvious if the avatar on the sign up sheet, but just put this here just in case you change it)
• Personality (I have trouble with this.)
• Abilities (Outside the magic they gain, of course.)
• Other (You know, just in case. Could be things like they're favorite food or what type of player they are [Munchkin, The Roleplayer, The Loonie] or even their sexual orientation.)

Note: I thought history would have been unnecessary, but you can add it on your Avatar's profile if you wish. If everyone does it, I'll make the History tab official.

• Name: Pic
• Gender: Male
• Age: Unknown, but he looks and acts like a kid.
• Character's Name: Peter
• Character's Class: Wizard
• Witch Type: Warlock/Witch (In this case, he's a Warlock because he's male.)
• Appearance: A small yellow robot. His ears are two red circles with antennas on them (One on each). He has gray arms and legs, connected to his main body by red spheres. He has three fingers (including thumbs) on each hand. His palms have black circles in them (Which I guess are the lens to the magical camera installed in his body). He has blue eyes, and no mouth. His torso has a red "radioactive" symbol on it.
• Personality: He doesn't seem to speak much, although it might be because of his lack of mouth. He's childlike and curious.
• Abilities: He has a magic camera which can seal objects into the photographs. This also freezes them in time, as they still have the same momentum as they did before they were put in a photograph (no word on how this effects the thought process of anyone he's taken a picture of, though).
• Other:
  • He's asexual, being a robot, but when he gets more mature he may become pan-romantic.
  • He has a hobby of photographing, although it's kind of hard when things tend to "disappear" when you take pictures of them.
  • He appears to run on magic. This, combined with the fact that in Chick Tracts magic is evil and one of the laws of Thermodynamics, he may produce an aura of evil (or maybe just "Chick Tract-evil"). So don't be surprised if a dog starts barking at him or reality goes apeshit because of his niceness.

Um, so... Probably a really dumb question, but what kind of format is this going to be in? I've been interested in joining a WAOA game before, but I was always kind of turned off by the script format all of the games seem to use. Would this be using script format or prose format?

I guess I'm going with Prose format if that pleases you. I really don't have much luck on my other R Ps.

Why does everyone ignore my R Ps?

I might be interested. Two questions though.

Does one need any knowledge of Dn D?
What is a "Witch Type"?

Hey, give it time. I'm sure people would be interested. You can't just give up after such a short amount of time, can you?

Although... If you'll accept a little constructive criticism, the concept seems a little barebones, and it's probably rather confusing for people who aren't familiar with the Chick Tract in question. Maybe a little bit of clarification of what you intend this RP to be like would help?

I don't think you need any, unless you want your character complains about the harsh rules.

And a Witch Type is the type of witch your character becomes after joining the coven. Read the original "Dark Dungeons" for more information.

I was wondering what the main differences between Dungeons & Dragons and Dark Dungeons was. I know what Dungeons and Dragons and Chick Tract comics are, but I don't really know how the characters would act in Dark Dunheons.

Well, it seems that death is so permanent in Dark Dungeons, you can't play the game anywhere else.

Whenever the avatar you're playing as knows that or not is up to you.

When you say death is permanent, do you mean that we'll have to switch avatars a lot or that we'll keep our avatars, but play in a death world?

Dark Dungeons and this RP are separate, so don't worry about your avatar dying. Dark Dungeons is the Role-Playing Game that this RP centers around.

I'm still a little confused. Are our avatars sitting around playing Dark Dungeons? Or are they inside a comic called Dark Dungeons? It might help if you explained how posting would work in a little more detail.

Basically our avatars have replaced Debbie. It will go off the rails at least a little.

So are we all Debbie? And is it going to be played straight or Parodied?

If by we somehow got her role, then yes. And it's parodied, of course.

Will probably join as Cloud (so unexpected, right?) when I'm at a position where I can access school-blocked links and do a bit of research.

Still thinking of an avatar to use, but I'm thinking of a Mr. Welch guy as the player.

• Name: Cloud Strife
• Gender: Male
• Age: 25 ( Two years after the end of the series)
• Character's Name: Valentine (A jab at Vincent on his part)
• Character's Class:Rogue (Going off the mercenary things and his build, I never played much D&D)
• Witch Type: Shadow Knight
• Appearance: Will link a picture when things aren't blocked. Here.◊ In the meantime, blond hair, glowing blue eyes with lights moving around in them that he always conceals with a pair of sunglasses. Wears a lot of black, has a large harness on his back that carries an oversized, mechanical sword. Has a pointy face and a slightly crooked nose. Is a bit on the short side.
• Personality: Street smart Combat Pragmatist. Somewhat snarky. Isn't fazed by much, and is willing to talk things out to a certain extent. Likes kids. Doesn't talk much about himself, but is sociable enough, if not a bit chilly at first. Resents authority figures somewhat.
• Abilities:Is unnaturally strong and fast, and has enhanced senses. Knows quite a bit of magic already, which will probably not be used due to him not wanting to make a scene in public.
• Other:
  • Is playing because Denzel mentioned it to him, and is making a sad attempt to "connect". Doesn't really care much, but is willing to try.
  • Heterosexual, is in a relationship with Tifa. Doesn't seem to mind other orientations, although he is slightly uncomfortable occasionally due to having a slight history of being hit on by guys.
  • Is not entirely human, being genetically altered with the genes of this alien virus hivemind thing, and actually does have a little voice in his ear telling him to kill people and burn things. He has gotten rather adept at ignoring it, however.

If you're not sure about your Witch Class being Rouge, I suggest it could be somethings like "Shadow Knight" or "Collector".

I can't decide between Pinkie Pie with a "Mr. Welch"-character and Richard from Looking for Group with an "Everything with HP can be killed"-character...

• Personality: A Conspiracy Theorist who's usually right about the supernatural stuff going on even though people don't believe him, making him into an Agent Mulder. He tries to make a plan for everything, never taking the risk of having things spontaneously fall into place. He's a bit of a Badass Bookworm and can usually be found investigating the book he found on his first day at Gravity Falls, when he isn't working at his Grunkle*
