Just a Guy Smiling At Another Guy Who We Can Only See the Back of the Head of and a Caption. Yank it.
Moon◊Kill the current with fire. ...maaaaaaybe.
The current isn't harming anything but the suggestion is much better.

Current is awful. I'm okay with 7 being swapped in.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Agree that the current sucks | |
7 works for me.
Is six people who see a smirking face and no sign of anything remotely torturous enough reason to pull the current, at least?
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableIt's pulled.
Love the Girl Genius pic. Supporting swap.
The Girl Genius pic is pretty good, though the dialog doesn't quite match the topic, since there's nothing indicating that they're trying to get information.
Same image as 7, but on white:
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
Nice.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Bump. In a painful way.
The Revolution Will Not Be Tropeable15, with deranged cruise ship captain about to torture Godot, works for me.
I've never read Girl Genius if it wasn't obvious
Moon◊Good enough. The pic's up, potholed, and tagged. Is there anyone who's familiar with Girl Genius that could add it to the webcomic section as an example? Also, caption or no?
Will do.
I don't think a caption is necessary, but I don't have any ideas just now anyway. :P
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableYeah, the current one is hilarious on its own. Unless anyone can come up with a particularly clever one, I don't think a caption is necessary.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I'm leaning that way myself. Another vote or two for no caption and we can lock up.
I think it graphically looks better without a caption. A caption would ruin the uneven edges of the panels. Also, there's enough text in it as it is.

It might be the former trope namer, but there's nothing that shows the trope itself.
