I was like that with Dr Strangelove.
Then I got it on DVD. It was okay.
Homestuck. It's just too big for me to get into. And now I must dodge all of the incoming rage.

Burn the land and boil the sea, you can't take the sky from me.I dunno if I admire it, but I don't really care to watch Azumanga Daioh.
That doesn't even make sense. I can't admire works that I never read/watched/played/whatever.
People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.I can't decide whether to holler for a spelling correction or just leave it for the lulz.
Anyway.
The entire Legend Of Zelda series. There are plenty of things I can appreciate about it (the music especially, but also the art, the mythos, stuff like that), but I'm just not into fantasy adventure.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Well, a work might look interesting from looking at its synopsis or preview and knowing a few things about it, and you might think the fame and good feedback it gets is for real. But you might not be personally interested in this well-done work.
I get that feeling quite a bit, because I know some works are great but don't personally interest me. That's why I haven't seen all of Star Wars series.
A lot of Live Action shows. I think "oh, this is an interesting and/or funny set-up" but I never watch it. Like Suits, Breaking Bad, Dexter, Monk, The Big Bang Theory...
Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!I admire Girl Genius for the artwork, the story, the characters etc, but never really got into it.
ಠ_ಠThe Wheel Of Time series. There are other things that I would like to read/watch, but haven't yet, e.g. Girl Genius or The Big Bang Theory, though I'm not sure I admire those.
Oh, and LOTR is epic.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I do want to watch some animes sometime, but I haven't got the time, and I wouldn't understand what was happening unless I had a friend who knew about the show with me.
FIMFiction Account MLPMST PageThat pony thing.
New theme music also a boxWorld Of Warcraft... Kinda. I'm glad it exists, but I've never played it. I won't go into details.
Kingdom Hearts. It sounds good, I just don't have the time to play through all those games.
Uchuu Kyoudai. There's a very laid back anime out there about people aspiring realistically to admittedly grandiose careers? Cool! I'll file that away under "Neat stuff that nevertheless is not my pace" along with Golf.
Myst. Really pretty, nice world building and a great setting, probably even decent stories. But it's slow to navigate and most of the games haven't aged that well, making actually playing them seem like more of a chore.

It's cool how Doctor Who has managed to survive over the years, with them complex characters, and mythos, but I'm a bit intimidated it, at the same time. It's been on the tele forever, and To get the full experience, I'd have to either prepare myself for the binging, or research like I'm supposed to write a thesis about it.
If you wanna PM me, send it to my mrsunshinesprinkles account; this one is blorked.Star Wars, Firefly, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones...anything live action in general except Sherlock and the occasional episode of House. Also videogames.
In that case you should probably just start watching. You might not even like it, in which case you can strike it off the things you might be interested in.
Really, you aren't obligated to watch the whole thing. Just watch part of it, and if you like it, watch more.
With the exception of the current (overly complicated arc of the past two seasons) arc, newcomers can expect things they don't know about to be explained, and most episodes to be stand-alone. Just like those series that retcon depth! Well... Hopefully better.

If you wanna PM me, send it to my mrsunshinesprinkles account; this one is blorked.Ponies.
Doctor Who for me as well. Just way too many series for me to get into. I may check out the comics and novels though. Dune as well. Liked the first book ok, but im not sure about venturing into the rest of the novels.

- The complete works of Quentin Tarantino.
- A large number of video games on systems I don't own, but one series premise that's caught my attention lately is Darksiders. (RIP THQ)
Doctor Who is one for me too. It just seems like too much details, I'd have to watch all 300 seasons (or however many), which I have no interest in doing. The biggest Archive Binge I've ever done was all 10 seasons of Friends in about a week. Same thing with Star Trek, the only one I've seen is the 2009 movie, which apparently "true fans" hate. Also My Little Pony, I admire how it's able to get a demographic (18-35 year old males) that is completely out of the ordinary for a show about ponies and friendship.

I'm horrible about this sort of thing.
Harry Potter, The Lord Of The Rings, Animorphs, most pre-1960 films and tv shows... the list goes on. I read about them here or on Wikipedia or something, and I think 'hey, that sounds really cool!' but I really don't care to actually experience the real work.
